On July 3rd, I posted a warning, Get Ready for Hell’s Gate. In it, I warned that “all Hell is about to break loose” and that what seems like decades of events will be crammed into a shorter period of weeks or even days.
Since then, we’ve had a major Supreme Court ruling affecting the election process, an assassination attempt on former President Trump to attempt to do what the courts wouldn’t do. The hidden forces behind our electoral process forced President Biden to drop out of the presidential race, and now Kamala Harris is the presumptive nominee for the Democrat party, despite not receiving a single vote.
That’s quite a bit of historic stuff in the last three weeks, wouldn’t you say?
But here’s the thing… We’re just getting started.
We’ve entered the rapids of Hell’s Gate, and barely escaped capsizing on July 13th at 6:11 PM when Trump’s head was turned at just the right moment to escape a bullet traveling at 3,250 feet per second from a rifle positioned only 390 feet away. Selah.
If you think things will return to normal anytime soon, I believe you’re sadly mistaken.
As we progress through the shadow of this narrowing of the canyon, the pace will pick up and the challenges will be even more severe. Unnerving to say the least.
We will emerge out of Hell’s Gate, albeit a little worse for wear (maybe a lot worse), and when we do, it will be into a wide place resuming the peaceful pace of a lazy river on a sunny day.
But first we have to survive the rapids!
Not everyone will survive. I won’t name names, but history is not finished writing this chapter. Stay tuned.
I’ll give you a hint… Quit thinking right vs left or Republican vs Democrat. Those are the chess pieces we see. It’s the hands that move those pieces that will tell the tale. And those hands are guided by Ephesians 6:12.
Fortunately, Jesus disarmed those same principalities and powers thus ensuring that the rapids we’ve now entered (which are meant to expose the works of darkness and disrupt their plans), will come to an end. (But not yet.)
The world we will live in will be led by the prepared, who “feared not” in times of grave peril and uncertainty, but rather, despite what they beheld with their natural eyes, were strong and very courageous, looking to the author and finisher of their faith.
During these tumultuous times we must build with one hand and be ready to dispatch threats with the other. (Nehemiah 4:17) The focus needs to be on what you’re building, not on the threat. If all you pay attention to is the scary rapids and the roaring sounds, you’ll be tossed about and may capsize.
Keep your eyes on the prize. Keep building what God has given you to build, be that a career, a business, a home or a family – or all of those!
In my previous blog, I mentioned that I found a seven step progression that will guide you through the rapids and show you exactly how to build what God has given you to build.
Once again, this blog is too long to detail those now, but I will at least give you the first thing that directly and substantially affects your chances of success…
INPUT.
In my next blog, I will explain. Be sure to subscribe so you never miss another life changing message.
Thanks Michael. What I love most about this blog is the advise to focus on what you are building regardless of what’s going on.
I look forward to the next blog.
Thank you for your comment Rita. I do try to keep that focus.
Blessings, Michael
Rings true, Michael.
As always, relevant content and much needed in our days and times.
Just to add-on: ‘Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion which cannot be shaken but endures forever’ – Psalms 125 v 1. ‘The people that know their God shall be strong…’ – Daniel 11 v 32.
