On Friday, September 23rd, my wife Judy suggested we take a weekend break (maybe longer) and head to the cooler weather and mountainous landscape of North Carolina.
On our way North, her sister called and told us about a storm below Cuba that might hit Florida. It was only a tropical depression at the time, but I’m not good at predicting weather, let alone, controlling it, so we continued on our journey.
Well as you know, it became one of the most destructive hurricanes to hit this country and left a trail of devastation for literally hundreds of miles. Because our home lost power for nearly a week, we stayed on the road, eventually moving over to my son’s home in Santa Rosa Beach on the Florida Panhandle.
I was still able to record some great content for the Jesus School of Business and loaded it on the site for all the members enrolled in God’s Best Kept Secrets Mastery Program.
When we got home two weeks after we left, we found trees down and debris by the truckload on our property, but our home was fine.
But that’s where the story gets interesting…
Eric Lundquist is a friend with a business that he and his wife operate called Kombucha 221B.C. When the storm was approaching, he prayed and felt to stay. His friends thought he was crazy for making that choice, but he felt the peace of God, so he stayed.
100 m.p.h. winds pounded his home only 250 feet from the beach and then came the thuds of multiple 70 foot tall trees crashing on his roof.
What happened in the next 36 hours defies all rationale and leaves only one, miraculous conclusion. I was so moved by the story, I asked to interview him and share it with you.

WoW! I do, so completely, believe in miracles, they are all around us every day, and most go unnoticed and certainly not documented.

WOW! Such a love story of how the Lord took care of Eric and his family as they simply trusted in Him. And how God’s spirit within Eric had him utter that simple prayer to move the trees. Love and humility. Awesome testimony!

SO, SO, SO good! When my husband and I first saw these photos when Eric shared them we both dropped our jaws. Then, we looked at each other in such awe of our mighty God. We both at almost the same time said, we believe this story! Besides Michael you wouldn’t share it otherwise and also because Eric is in TranzformU with us as a founding member also, so I knew he wouldn’t just make this up – going through the transformation we’ve all been going through for the last year. He says he’s a regular guy, but aren’t we all “regular guys/gals” or better, sons and daughters of the Most High God?
Seeing this interview and listening to the story from Eric’s own mouth with your questions just makes it all the more believable and in more awe of our God Who is able to do above and beyond anything we can think to ask or imagine! This is normal Christianity, and as Eric said we’re going to be experiencing this more and more as we advance the Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven! So glad you shared this Michael!!!

Michael, as I shared on this morning’s call, we are living in exciting times. The restoration of all things has begun. It is time for us all to see and testify to the miraculous and prosperous hand of God so that He can receive all the glory and acknowledgement for what He is doing….I cannot wait to see what more He is going to broadcast and do for His incredible world and the people’s in it, made in His own image…I am looking and waiting in anticipation..
