“The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” (Psalm 34:10)
There are a lot of people… good people, honest people, even talented people who are suffering lack. How is that possible? They may be young and strong as a lion, and yet they suffer lack. Why is it, that good, talented people so often struggle? Could Psalm 34 verse 10 contain the answer? It says that those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. What a promise!
It doesn’t say those who believe in the Lord will not lack any good thing. Nor does it say, those who seek strategies or techniques shall not lack any good thing. It quite clearly states that those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
So how then shall we seek the Lord? There is only one way… With all our hearts. This is not a casual inquiry, or a simple pondering. It is not a mere discussion about the Lord. If your child was kidnapped, would you seek for them? Would it be for just a few minutes of quiet time in the morning? How aggressive would you be in seeking your child?
The keys to success in life run contrary to what most think. Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things we have need of would be added to us. In other words, go after Him as our top priority and He will make our care His priority.
As most of you know by now, I am going to invite as many as are interested to enroll in the MPI Christian Business Institute. But one thing you should know before accepting my invitation is that it is not and will not be worldly teaching with a Bible verse tacked on to it. This will go against the grain. It will take time to master what I will teach you, but in the end, no one will be able to gainsay you.
The critical distinctive of this training is not that it’s Biblically focused, but rather, that it is Jesus focused, God focused, Lord of Lords focused. It will be my goal to help you tap into the true secrets of success, which are all found in relationship with and in proximity to, the presence of the Lord.
Sure, it will be full of Biblical principles, strategies and techniques that are exceedingly effective. Think of them as the ways of the Lord. But what good is a way of the Lord, if it doesn’t lead you to the Lord? I have studied the ways of the Lord as they pertain to business and life for decades, with increasing focus and understanding with each passing year.
What a shame to be on one of His paths and not find Him. Why would anyone want to settle for the trinkets and treasures along the path and miss out on meeting Him? His ways are pure and right and there are riches and treasures along the way, but they are like the rose petals strewn on the aisle of the church before the bride walks down the aisle. The rose petals are not the treasure. The treasure is the bride!
Many of you are called to be kings in the marketplace. But do you know the 4 prohibitions in the law of kings that Moses spoke of? If you don’t know and understand those prohibitions, you will fall into many hurtful schemes. Perhaps you already have.
Then there are the two laws for kings that are admonitions. They are the greatest secret almost never taught, but they are found in the Bible where Moses teaches the law of the kings. By following the laws laid out for kings, there are three specified results. All of them good. Think of the two laws of admonition as keys. Each key unlocks new treasures. New instruction. New promises.
I hope you will join me on this journey. Classes begin in just a few weeks. I will be sharing these and other treasures I have found. It will be epic. Learn more here and let me know if you are interested.
Today, I recorded some video clips in the California Redwood Forest and the Southern Oregon Pacific coast. In those clips I begin to give insights into the MPI Christian Business Institute. Be watching for them this week as we begin the launch of this one-of-a-kind business school. It’s been a long time coming. I’m excited to start rolling it out this week! I will share more details as the week unfolds.
Until next time, be fruitful and multiply!
