I’ll tell you what just happened regarding China at the end. But first…
A man we know, boards a plane headed yesterday headed to Dallas. He’s a very successful businessman, a health coach, a gun enthusiast and a son of a prominent preacher. An all around great guy.
After being seated and nicely settled in for his much anticipated flight to attend a football game with a friend, the flight attendant approached with two police officers and confirmed his name, then ordered him to retrieve his belongings and follow them.
His mind races… Did they find contraband in his luggage? Perhaps a pistol in his hand bag from a previous hunting trip? Knowing that he had done nothing worthy of being pulled off the plane by armed police officers, he naturally asked the flight attendant… “Ma’am, can you please tell me what’s going on?”
Did they suspect him of being a drug kingpin? Was he mistaken for Brian Laundrie? What grave concern did they have to pull him off the plane with armed officers?
The flight attendant replied, “You violated our mask mandate policy.”
Say what?!?!?!
“But ma’am” he responded with incredulous disbelief, “There’s a mask on my face right now”
But apparently during his onboarding experience and putting things in the overhead compartment and buckling up his seatbelt, his mask slipped unnoticeably to him, just below his nose.
Well, that explains that! Arrest that man!
Apparently another passenger reported him, claiming they were made “uncomfortable” seeing him not wearing a face diaper in the fully prescribed and apparently mandated manner.
That’s all it took.
Then he was told that he may receive a $1,000 fine and be potentially banned for life from flying on this well known American airline whose name is currently being withheld. (When I know it, I will happily inform you.)
This same man has a son who his whole life wanted to join the army when he came of age. And sure enough, at age 18 he recently did that. His son loves our country and wanted to defend her from enemies foreign and domestic.
He’s a solid believer and when he joined the Army, their recruiting website clearly stated their vaccine policy which states that the so-called “vaccines” were required unless you had a religious exemption. He had one.
This same Army then proceeded to literally scream and curse at him, and threatened to put this all American young man in jail if he didn’t comply. He didn’t and they crushed his dream, kicking him out of the Army.
I made a list last night of over 20 cases where God’s people were ordered or expected to comply to some edict. Take for example, Shiphrah and Puah, the Hebrew midwives who refused to kill the Hebrew babies and lied to Egyptian officials when questioned. For their disobedient behavior and lying to ruling officials to save lies, God rewarded them with houses. (Exodus 1:21 KJV & Strongs)
I’d love to talk about Gideon, one of the most maligned Bible heroes in Christendom, simply because he used wisdom which has been mischaracterized as cowardice. (I’ll talk about that in a future blog.)
But Gideon violated all social norms when he pulled down the statue of Baal in the middle of the night and erected in its place, an altar to the Lord.
Needless to say, that stirred the pot. (Judges 6:25-32)
Time doesn’t permit to talk about Daniel or Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Not to mention Peter or Paul or John on the isle of Patmos.
Back to our story…
The friend on the plane wasn’t even being willfully non-compliant. It was a slight infraction, dare I say, unintentional. They took a snitching passenger’s word for it.
What if it was a lie? It wasn’t, but he was removed without recourse nonetheless.
I share this for two very important reasons…
(1) We are the proverbial frogs in the kettle. I feel the water heating up. The fire is being turned up and the water has gone from cool, to uncomfortably warm.
If we don’t jump out, we will croak inside the pot!
But herein lies the problem… To where shall we jump? What is our recourse?
There is no one single answer for everyone, which is why it’s incredibly important you understand my second and final point…

This is bigger than our country and only the tip of the iceberg. Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in a briefing in New York last week stated that Iran’s pace of advancement towards a nuclear weapon is “unacceptable,” and Israel’s approach is “not just apocalyptic warnings, but initiative. We mean what we say,” Bennett said. Later he added: “We are acting in the present and will continue. I believe that consistent and determined action can make a difference,” The news has not reported it, but at least one airstrike has apparently already occurred.
The skills needed to navigate the times fast approaching cannot be found in worldly wisdom or at a gun range. Security can be found only under the shadow of the wings of the Most High God. In my opinion, Kingdom40 is analogous to BUD/S, the training program for the U.S. Seals. Without it, with what’s headed our way, you’ll be toast. Stop what you’re doing and join NOW.
2 Corinthians 13:1 comes to mind: “This is the third time I am coming to you. Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.” Michael has been saying this over and over. There is a time to hear and there’s a time to act. It's almost a time to barely catch up. I cannot endorse what Michael is affirming here more strongly.
