Too Close to Call and Other B.S.

If you believe the polls that suggest this election is too close to call, I’ve got some ocean front property for sale in Colorado you might be interested in.

That language is crafted to keep you sitting on the edge of your seat and frequently checking in with your favored media outlet for any change in the predictions. And of course they come.

First Biden was ahead, but that wasn’t selling. No rational person with at least 10% of their brain cells operational would believe that.

They tried selling it. So did the White House, but when private polls revealed the obvious and irreversible trend, they took him out, and installed an equally dishonest and totally unlikeable candidate who had received zero votes in any primary. (No surprise there. So much for preserving democracy!)

That was followed by the media blitz, the likes of which we haven’t seen since “Beatlemania” in ’64. That helped the Democrat party go from failing miserably to a promising chance.

Then there was the Trump surge followed by a supposed momentum shift for Kamala and then this weekend, a “shocking” last minute poll in Iowa that showed her ahead by 7 points when Trump won Iowa handily the last two cycles. Does anyone really believe that people keep switching their decision from one party to another and then back again, all in the same election cycle? I don’t.

Besides being an attempt to shift your behavior, and demoralize conservatives, media organizations use this to keep you engaged and addicted to the news, because news first and foremost is a BUSINESS.

If watching grass grow in the pasture attracted more viewers, the airwaves would be full of coverage about the speed of grass growth in Kentucky vs California, and whether winter rye grass was preferable over St. Augustine. You’d still have to step over the B.S. in the pastures though.

Get this through to your mind and heart… The polls lie. The media lies. Just not every time.

They tell the truth when it fits with their financial objectives. With the millions of dollars spent on polling (trolling for outcomes they want), by various news outlets, why would any candidate do their own internal polls? Wouldn’t it save them a lot of money to rely on the polls they see on TV?

It’s because they know the polls we all see – are bogus.

So what are THEIR polls telling them? You can see it in their demeanor and hear it in their messaging. One side is calm yet highly energized, not taking anything for granted and encouraging Americans to dream big.

The other side fabricates desperate, absurd lies with the help of highly edited videos that give a completely false perspective and warns they must save democracy from fascism.

One side is gaining joy… the other side has lost their joy – and their mind! (Lawsuits and bullets didn’t work, who knows what they’ll try next?!?!)

Kamala et al, in an effort to create the marxist world that can be, have unburdened themselves from the truth of what has been. They fabricate lies at an astounding rate, declaring things they know to be false, as though they were irrefutable facts.

It was Joseph Goebbels, (Nazi minister of propaganda under Adolph Hitler) who famously said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” And to think, they call Trump – Hitler.

Reproductive rights according to them, gives freedom to women. Sounds like a worthy cause if you’ve recently had a lobotomy, but it allows those same women to mercilessly kill their unborn children who are made in the image of God.

That’s not a reproductive right. It’s a license to kill at will – and without any civil or criminal penalties. It’s mass murder sanctioned and encouraged by the state. If this goes unchecked, who do you think is next?

The thing about the polls and the media reporting them, is that it’s hard to know when they’re telling the truth. Take for example the 1980 contest between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan… That was back in the days when we naively believed Walter Cronkite and other network news anchors and CNN was a non factor.

For weeks before the presidential election, the so called experts of public opinion polling were nearly unanimous in their findings. In poll after poll, they determined that the choice between President Jimmy Carter and challenger Ronald Reagan was “too close to call.”

On election day, Reagan won 10 X the number of electoral college votes that Carter did (489 to 49). How could they have all gotten it so very wrong?

Put simply. It was purposeful.

Keeping tensions high and uncertainty in play, builds ratings. Ratings determine your ad rates. It was true then and is now. That’s why you can never trust the media or the politicians who benefit from them.

What’s going to happen tomorrow? God knows. I wish I did.

But I will tell you with certainty, what’s going to happen while the dust is settling, after what I suspect will be quite a disturbance in the coming days…

  3. How do kingdom people believed that either of these people deserve to be a president, this is amazing. Where is your discernment?
    The conversation should be; why our election system is so corrupt, why we have to choose only from two wicket people?
    The two party system works together to keep a real third party out. These two parties are 70% alike and 30% different, the media
    keep the people focus on the 30% difference. EX: DEMS killed you before you born, GOP kill you after you born, (you should not kill.)
    DEMS like to cheat on their wives, GOP like little boys, they both take bribes, they both lie all the time, they both agree on Israel,
    they both agree on Ukraine, why we been taught from children to hate Russia and China, why we been taught from children to
    love England and Israel? They both agree on the electoral college the most corrupt so call election system in democracy. The USA
    is so far in debt; we spent BILLIONS that we don't have on defense (more than all the other countries combine), giving money and
    arms to our friendly countries. I understand worldly people voting with their wallets but kingdom people should not.

    1. Hi Jeff… Thank you for taking time to post your comment and perspective. You ask where is our discernment? I could ask the same of you. Would you have voted for the Ayatollah of Iran to be president of the US? Do you think he would be better? I ask that because God “anointed” Cyrus (former king of Iran known as Persia) to help Israel by ending their exile in Babylon, helping them return to Israel and supporting the rebuilding of the temple. He led numerous military conquests in which many thousands were killed. Not sure how many wives he had or whether he indulged in the privileges ancient kings often did, but I’m guessing you wouldn’t say that he deserves to be president of the US if he lived today. Yet God chose him for his purposes to help His people.

      Your blanket statements about DEMS cheating on their wives and GOP like little boys is grossly inappropriate. Those accusations could just as easily be stated about pastors or preachers or priests or just about any group but obviously and certainly not all preachers or pastors or priests or DEMS or GOP do those wicked things. Your generalizations about Ukraine, Russia, China, England, Israel, the electoral college etc are the equivalent of making any blanket statement about any ethnic group. The only blanket statement that comes to my mind that is true, is that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”.

      It seems there’s no end to the ways people give in to sin, whether secretly or openly, whether physically or mentally, all of us have fallen short. Trump is no exception, but he is actually trying to do the right things and he has the ability and conviction, strength and position, to actually make a difference. That’s a whole lot better than sitting in the cheap seats and calling him wicked, but making no difference.

      As Teddy Roosevelt famously pointed out, “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

      1. Hi Michael, Do I not say both! You comparing a president to a king, let's not do that.
        This man grab the microphone and simulated a oral sex act. My goodness
        if any other person did that in front of your child, you would take action.

        Stumble once twice thrice four but a president has to have accountability,
        a king don't. I never went personal, I asked a question of discernment but you
        went there with your welfare Teddy answer someone protecting his interest.

        The base of my words were, how do so many kingdom people (not worldly)have so
        much zeal for any of these candidate.
        I called both candidates wicket. Sad Sad TIME in America and there's no other place I'd rather be.

        1. Jeffrey.. I see why you believe some of the nonsense you do. I suppose if all I saw was what you saw or heard, I might well believe like you. Trump ABSOLUTELY DID NOT simulate oral sex with a microphone. Shame on you for spreading garbage like that! You need some discernment brother. The media that is feeding you is feeding you pig swill.

          I saw the video that allegedly showed Trump simulating oral sex. Only a sick and perverted mind would have concluded that from the real full video. In truth, they knew better. Apparently, you only saw a clip and had no context, and therefor, no idea. And apparently swallowed hook, line and sinker the lies being fed you. You might need a little more skepticism before you take the bait my brother. Watch the full video and you will see he was commenting on having a poor microphone and he mimicked the act of trying to get the mic to work and trying to talk into it. There was no hint of improper sexual innuendo.

          Please before you spread unadulterated B.S. (albeit unknowingly), beware of the misleading editing and outright manufactured lies.

          As for comparing a king to a president, my only point is that God chose Cyrus (a heathen) and anointed him for His purposes. Apparently God can accomplish His will through imperfect people like you, me and even Donald Trump.

          As for Teddy, my point was simply that Trump is in the arena striving for something great. You seem to only see his faults and apparently believe the false media that has their own evil agenda. You are a smart guy. The media is not your friend. Trump’s imperfections are many and lived out in front of everyone. Whenever I see something inflammatory about Trump, I check the context. Many times the claim is made up out of whole cloth. No truth to it at all.

          Many other times, they take a snippet and imply it means something grotesque that it doesn’t. For example, The media told you that Trump threatened to put Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad when in fact he stated that she was a war hawk, who would have a different position on going to war if it meant she would be on the front lines with guns trained on her face. If you just listened to the lying media which is your enemy as much as mine, you would think Trump to be a wannabe war criminal.

          Hence, I don’t trust the media like I used to, years ago.

          1. Michael, they got me on that one that's the second time I mention the incident with the microphone
            I didn't do my research on that one, thank you. I stop watching the news in 2005. Still, I can't believe
            this is anywhere near the best America have to offer for president. Two question Michael, If a select
            few people of Electoral College can choose the president, tell me that's not broken. Take in mind,
            in some state, if the caucuses in agreement the person with the least votes can still be chosen.

            I think this is the #1 reason of this pollical failure, all through history, when a nation accepted open
            homosexuality they fell and never rose again. If Trump will get rid same sex marriage, I would RUN
            to the polls to vote for him. Please tell me he said that in one of his many speeches.

          2. Jeffrey… The way I look at Trump is that he is like a bulldozer or maybe like a Jehu. We may want a finish carpenter, but what is needed is a wrecking ball. The polite, well spoken, gentile politician you’re hoping for is not the one that will get the job that needs to be done, done. There is so much compromise in both political parties. Don’t forget that Trump is despised as much by the GOP establishment as by the DEMS. They are really two wings on the same bird.

            I believe Trump will win (if no wholesale cheating takes place) and you and I will be very glad to see what he actually accomplishes. If God puts His Spirit in Trump and he catches fire, that would be an awesome thing.

            What I do believe, is that Trump is not the right wing on a corrupt bird. He is redefining the GOP and what it means to lead. I believe he is an infinitely better option that Kamala.

            Lastly, thanks for caring enough to discuss this and loving our country enough to long for better days.

          3. As for the Electoral College, it doesn’t quite work the way I think you envision it. The select few members of the Electoral College don’t get to vote their own will. They are appointed by the party on a state by state basis. The number of electoral votes each state has varies and they are expected (and in some cases required) to vote with the popular vote of their specific state. If they vote other than by the candidate who got the most votes, they can be penalized and even replaced.

            The Electoral College creates a balance between states with large populations and those with smaller populations. It ensures that states with fewer people, like Wyoming or Vermont, still have a voice in presidential elections, preventing candidates from focusing solely on highly populated areas.
