Perhaps you’ve noticed the sun going down on personal freedoms and economic liberty. Maybe you’ve thought something wasn’t right about forcing millions of people to choose between an experimental gene therapy nicknamed “vaccine” and keeping their job, their pension and their freedom to travel. Maybe also you’ve noticed the roiling of nations and the maneuvering of strategic assets around the world.
If you have, you’re not alone. As a result, many are fearful. Many more will be in the coming days. But no need for you to be.
Two things always follow dusk… (1) night time (aka darkness) and (2) the stars. When it gets dark, it’s showtime in the heavens. There are an estimated 200 billion galaxies, and the one we are in (Milky Way) has an estimated 100 billion stars. Psalm 147:4 says that God has them all numbered AND NAMED!
Psalm 19:1 says that the heavens declare the glory of God and the expanse reveals His HANDIWORK. But none of that becomes visible until darkness settles in.
Now catch this…
Not only are the stars His handiwork meant to be displayed for His glory in the dark, but Ephesians 2:10 says that we also “are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”.
Now today, we find ourselves searching the skies for the last rays of sunlight, not realizing that the fast approaching darkness is God setting the stage to display His handiwork. We were created for the “display of His splendor”. (Isaiah 61:3) In Philippians 2:15, Paul prays that we “become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life”.
This fast approaching darkness IS OUR TIME TO SHINE! Don’t walk in fear! “They that know their God will do exploits!” (Daniel 11:32) Be bold! Expand. Invest wisely. Do business. By all means be a witness and testimony for Jesus Christ. He who is fearful about the winds of change will not sow and he who gives deference to the gathering storm clouds will not reap! (See Ecclesiastes 11:4)
I asked the Lord for some "big ticket" ideas to offer folks in this season. He told me that He didn't call me for the purpose of making "big ticket" offers. In this season, He wants me to pass on the cumulative revelation of 36 years of deep research, practical application and proven results in a way that is accessible to the masses without the barrier of a big investment.
My new book when finished, will be about 3 times the amount of content of a normal sized book. It is my attempt to provide as much value and help as possible in the most accessible and affordable way possible. Not accepting pre-orders just yet because I need to know the finished page count, etc. I still have about another dozen chapters to write before I finish this 101 chapter masterpiece - my most thorough and complete work ever. It will hopefully be available next month.
It is jam packed full of Biblical (and dare I say "supernatural") wisdom and Natural Law applied to business in its various forms. I plan to release the
finished work next month, along with some other strategies God has been giving me to equip the body of Christ in the marketplace.
How long the night is, depends on the season. (Nights are longer in winter). What I do know is that we have no control over the seasons or the rising and setting of the sun. We do however have the authority to determine if we will shine in the coming night or hide our light under a bushel. (Matthew 5:15) If you plan on shining, then you need to make sure your lamp has sufficient oil (wisdom and understanding) to light your way.

Good word Michael. Darkness is the time for God to shine so brightly. Ps 37 gives us a recipe for what to do when evil arises and what our heart attitude should be.

Thanks for what you shared here today. It certainly resonates with what I am sensing from the Lord – that we have work to do with Him that is going to be powerful. And like the verses He gave me last night from Ps. 23 about how we don’t need to fear, how He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, how goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives.
