Brace For Impact

There’s a reason they say, “BRACE FOR IMPACT!”

It speaks of a sudden impending event. It’s meant to help you survive.

That’s why I’m writing this today. The likelihood of one or more impact events in the next 5 months is high. That’s because there’s a monumental war being waged over control of planet Earth and its resources. There’s a war between good and evil where evil is increasingly exposed and being pushed back. (It will not win!)

For example, the next 24 – 36 hours have a higher than normal likelihood of such an event. I did not have an angelic visitation, nor was I taken to Heaven, but like the sons of Issachar, I pay attention to the times (past and present) so I can know what to do.

Why the next 24 – 36 hours?

Because we will be in the 9th of Av window. The 9th of Av on the Hebrew calendar starts tonight at sunset and ends tomorrow evening. No less than 7 of Israel’s greatest calamities have fallen on this date including the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, among other tragedies in 130, 1290, 1492, 1942 and 2005.

The 9th of Av happens every year and almost always passes without notice. However, this year, the landscape is shaping up for a confrontation between Iran (and its proxies) and Israel and its ally the U.S. with warships, fighter jets and other assets amassing in preparation to defend Israel.

The U.S. has been wondering why Iran has delayed it’s response to Israel’s assassination of the Hamas leader attending the swearing in of the new Iranian president. I believe they are stringing the US along while making contrary plans and putting their resources in place, including calling up all their airmen.

And because of their hatred of Israel, they may look at the 9th of Av as a favorable day to make their move. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. But like I said, I’m just an informed observer of history, cycles and current events.

So how does one “brace for impact”? I go to Psalm 112…

“Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments... Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he LOOKS IN TRIUMPH UPON HIS ENEMIES.”

In other words, no need to fear. Not now. Not ever.

Mine is a call to valor and courage and action – in the face of threats and tumult and shaking. Some say this shaking is God’s last call before the rapture. It’s not.

The challenge is real and courage will be in short supply, but it need not be so. The meek WILL inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5) and the wicked will be removed (Proverbs 10:30). What you believe about these things is directly in proportion to what I’ve been touching on lately… Your INPUT.

Step one in the seven step ULTIMATE LIFE FRAMEWORK through which everything we have (or ever will have) must come, is INPUT.

It all begins there.

A big reason for societal tensions and divisions is INPUT.

There was a time in the 60’s through to the early 90’s that I naively believed everything I saw on the news. I didn’t realize I was being spoon fed a narrative that supported an agenda meant to direct the population in a certain way.

There is an INPUT Battle raging in America and around the world, where opposing forces are vying for your attention to get you to CONSUME THEIR INPUT. They know that the decisions you make and the rewards you will reap are based on the INPUT YOU CONSUME.

It’s WHERE IT ALL STARTS!!!

That’s why the battle is so intense. Hence, clickbait, sensational headlines and so much silliness online. TikTok in China is more educational, instructional and uplifting compared to twerking and much foolishness etc. on American TikTok. There’s a reason for that difference.

The reason for the big divide in American politics is largely because we drink from different fountains. Over the weekend, I learned about an affluent couple who recently purchased a home in our neighborhood and will be moving in later this year. I could hardly believe the sentiments expressed so vehemently on their social media page. It was offensive to say the least, yet celebrated proudly on their page.

Why such a difference between what they believe and what we believe?

As is often the case, and borrowing from the words of Jesus, “and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” Simply put, many will choose the path of darkness because they prefer it. But even that choice has a beginning point. And that beginning point is INPUT.

With respect to my soon-to-be new neighbors, our INPUT is different. And I often think, if the only input I had was the same input they’re consuming, would I believe like them? Because of the light of Scripture and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, I trust that would not be the case.

But for those who only have a casual relationship with the Way, the Truth and the Life, (if at all), they are easily swayed by every wave of indoctrination (not to mention AI manipulation).

It’s what MEDIA is all about – INPUT! He who controls the INPUT controls the world.

If they can’t control your input directly, they try to influence or compete better for your ATTENTION to get YOU TO CHOOSE to CONSUME their input. They know that what goes in – is what comes out. There is no other possibility! Hence all the focus on “thumbnails” on YouTube or headlines in advertising.

To counter the influence of the INPUT offensive, we need to make a conscious choice of righteous INPUT on a daily basis.

Think of it at a minimum, like taking vitamins. It’s better to have a healthy diet, but if not, be sure to take vitamins and minerals to offset the damage done by an unhealthy diet, or at least supplement your mental diet so that your mind can do PHASE TWO well and THINK.

Didn’t Paul say, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate (think) on these things.” 

I’ve got so much more to say about INPUT, which I hope to continue with next time because the INPUT we choose today produces the result and reward we will have (or not have) tomorrow.

Once you really understand this first pillar in the FRAMEWORK and take corresponding action, your life will take a turn for the better like you’ve never seen. It will flat out change everything for you!
