When JESUS Came To Visit

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21

It’s right there in Jesus’ own words… “I will love him and manifest Myself to him”. The New Testament documents no less than 13 times when He manifested Himself to people post resurrection.

To Mary Magdalene (John 20:11–18) To the other women (Matthew 28:8–10) To Peter (Luke 24:34; 1 Corinthians 15:5) To two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35) To ten disciples (Thomas absent) (John 20:19–23) To the eleven disciples (including Thomas) (John 20:26–29) To seven disciples fishing in Galilee (John 21:1–14) To over 500 believers at once (1 Corinthians 15:6) To James (His half-brother) (1 Corinthians 15:7) To the eleven at the Ascension (Luke 24:50–53; Acts 1:3–11) To Saul/Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3–6; Acts 22:6–10; Acts 26:12–18; 1 Cor. 15:8) To Stephen at his martyrdom (Acts 7:55–56) To John on the Isle of Patmos (Revelation 1:12–18 and throughout the book)

So, it shouldn’t be thought unreasonable that He might actually visit someone.

Of course, I realize He lives within me, but on 2 or 3 occasions, He manifested Himself to me and one such occasion, it directly, significantly and permanently redirected my life.

I mention that because on Thursday night, I’m going to be teaching HOW to HEAR the VOICE of GOD and make good decisions. My plan is that on alternate Thursday nights, I will teach some of the manifold mysteries of God that He has given me over the years.

Many of the experiences that accompany them, I haven’t wanted to share publicly. But I have seen some things. Some of them remain a mystery to me. Others were glimpses into another realm… A realm I scarcely understand.
