Venezuela – I’ve kept this under wraps for 45 years

In the late ’70’s and up to 1985, I had three profound visions and one experience I didn’t know how to categorize, so I kept it to myself until now.

The first vision came when I was a young, timid copier salesman who lacked the confidence to demonstrate our equipment to more than 1 or 2 people at a time. If I was supposed to demonstrate to an entire office staff, I asked my boss to do it.

I would routinely go to work early and pray in the “demo room” where all the latest copier models were on display. While doing that one day, suddenly, completely out of the blue, I saw myself in an arena speaking to in excess of 5,000 people. It wasn’t church… It was about business. I had never desired such a thing and it scared me.

Fast forward about 27 years. I was returning from a trip to Panama. I called my office administrator to see what I had missed and she told me that Get Motivated Seminar company had invited me to speak on a few stages out west with men like Zig Ziglar, Robert Schuller, Brian Tracy, etc. and she had accepted on my behalf. As I was standing backstage about to be introduced, I asked how many were in the arena. It was 5,500. It was only in that moment that I realized the vision was being fulfilled and I had made no effort whatsoever to bring it to pass.

A second vision came in 1985, years after losing everything that mattered and I was sleeping on someone else’s couch. One morning I turned the TV on and saw the 700 Club was playing. Only slightly interested, I watched it for a couple minutes when suddenly the scene I was staring at changed… I saw myself being interviewed and I saw my name at the bottom of the screen.

That unnerved me as I believed no one would ever want to hear from me about anything. In the year 2000, my Selling Among Wolves was published by Bridge Logos and I was invited to New Orleans to the International Christian bookstore trade show to autograph books for potential bookstore sales. At that show, the senior guest coordinator for the 700 Club introduced herself to me and booked me for the 700 Club show. It aired in February of 2001, sixteen long years after seeing it in a vision.

Back around the year 1979, I was at a stoplight in Surrey, British Columbia waiting for it to turn green when all of a sudden I saw myself in the future. My hair was starting to turn gray and in the vision I saw that my wife had just died. I kept that to myself for 31 years until in 2010 when I confided in my pastor as we contended for my wife’s life. She died a few weeks later.

I never asked for any of those visions. I never wanted any of them to come to pass, nor did I do anything to make them happen. They unfolded like a movie script that I happened to be in.

That brings me to the last one of that era… It so baffled me that I kept it to myself. It wasn’t detailed and most of the detail has been lost because it has been about 45 years. What I saw seemed so preposterous that I saw no reason to share it, but inwardly I pondered it… until now.

I remember standing on my front porch looking out at the street and for reasons I do not know, I saw that one day in the future Venezuela would become a major hotspot. I don’t mean as a vacation spot… I’m talking about major conflict. It made no sense then.

Then when I saw the U.S. blowing up small boats that were smuggling deadly drugs to America, I sat up. It wasn’t long before we sent warships. Then the largest aircraft carrier in the world showed up with tens of thousands of soldiers onboard those ships.

I don’t know what is coming, but I promise you, we don’t send an armada of the heaviest, mightiest warships in the world to deal with “narco terrorists”. There is something else afoot, and it is very serious. What it is, I don’t know. What I do know is we need to watch and pray. Care to join me in that?
