“Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of desire. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.” (Ecclesiastes 6:9)
I have a simple but important word for you today…
When you chase wandering desires or vain imaginations, you are in effect trying to catch hold of the wind. It will never happen. Instead, keep doing the right things in the right way, consistently and you will reap a reward. As I sought the Lord this morning at length, He confirmed to me the following word from Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.”
May I encourage you today, to bring every vain imagination into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Forsake not the fundamental building blocks for success. They are simple things, done repetitively over time to bring about a consistent result.
Pass up the temptation to buy “magic dust” from the purveyors of desire flooding the internet with all kinds of “secrets” for success. You don’t need an invisible selling machine or sideways sales letter or even some magical product launch formula. You simply need to learn, understand and consistently apply the fundamentals of business and you will have good success.
I will be writing more about these in coming days, but you already know what they are. Sometimes you just need someone to affirm what you know deep down inside. Until then, be fruitful and multiply!
Yes, Sir! That is the Rama Word for me! Thanks.
Amen to that, Ray! Likewise it came at the right time, too.
Just like what you said, Michael, we need affirmations in daily life and God has used you as a channel today. Affirming a wise decision to faithfully walk in trust and obedience to our True Rainmaker in the marketplace…no matter what.
May God so return the favor to you, our Sensei!
