I didn’t realize there was a day called “Giving Tuesday”, so when I started seeing emails today with that theme, I asked myself What can I give to you? You make it possible for me to study God’s Word and publish it far and wide. For that, I am most truly grateful!
(If you want to do some giving, find someone in your world that you can bless and give to them. It doesn’t have to be money. It could be as simple as a smile, a hug or some gesture of kindness.)
But for me, I thought of two Scripture books, that combined have sold about 200,000 copies.
The first is Psalm 91 – The Ultimate Shield. Originally written for our soldiers during Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm. It compiles Scripture topically around the theme of each verse. When it first came out, we sold 25,000 copies in the first 3 weeks!

The second is Psalm 23 – I Will Fear No Evil. Like the Psalm 91 book, this also takes each verse in the Psalm and compiles Scripture topically around the theme of each verse. Moody Press originally snapped up this book, but we now have the publishing rights back.

Given the times we live in and are headed towards, (SELAH) these books could once again be best sellers. But, I feel in my heart to give them away today, as my way of participating in Giving Tuesday.
Quite honestly, I also feel an urgency in my spirit. We all need what’s in these books – the pure Word of God, compiled topically around the two best known Psalms in the Bible.
