Destiny Changes Everything…

God didn’t create you out of boredom. He didn’t fashion you in the womb for entertainment.

You were born with a purpose.

A destiny.

At age 17, I fell asleep at the wheel while driving across the continental divide. I drove across the oncoming lane and the opposite shoulder and literally became airborne, flying off the side of a mountain at what police estimated to be 85 mph.

By the time the car got to the bottom, we had bounced end over end for what seemed an eternity. No seatbelts. No knowledge of God. Just two teenagers where over the years, several with similar accidents, met their demise.

But I was preserved for higher things. That was the day that I pondered for the first time, the concept of destiny and came to believe that God might actually have one for me.

Now, some 50 years later, my friend Peter Daniels invited me to watch a short talk he gave when visiting America. I have only watched it 3 times, but will watch it as often as I need to, because this man, who Norman Vincent Peale claimed was the best platform speaker in the world, gave the most inspirational talk wherein he shares the biggest secret for achieving success.
