You don’t need a prophetic gift to sense that something big is in the making.
When you think about it, how could it be otherwise? I don’t even have to explain the reasons (although I’m tempted to).
At a 30,000 foot level, the landscape becomes clear. Something is afoot, but the details remain sketchy.
And when the earth begins to move, and the superstructures crumble. When the powers that be are shaken, and the systems we rely on are stressed, fractured, even broken, society will need leaders.
I’m not talking about political leaders. I’m talking about men and women who understand the timing of God (1 Chronicles 12:32), who by reason of use, have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14) and know what to do.
These are men and women who have become skillful in the Word of righteousness (Hebrews 5:13) who know how to wield the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17).
And for those of you actively engaged in the marketplace, knowing how to cooperate with the Word of God and the ways of God will be invaluable. In fact, it already is.
