Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures

April 24, 2009"Glen's sister was crossing the street last night and was hit by a truck. She's in a coma and not expected to live through the night. If she does live, they say she will be a vegetable the rest of her life. I know you're a Christian. Would you please pray?" With those urgent words Glen's sales manager left the office I worked from at that client's place of business having done his best to summon help. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Must be time to pray! Although I agreed I would certainly pray, I was in the middle of something and quite inadvertently let that request slip away. The next afternoon, the sales manager appeared urgently in my office again with an update. "She made it through the night, but now wasn't expected to live through the afternoon." It was down to a few hours. I had been with Glen just a week earlier and had shared my faith with him. Neither he nor his family was believers. With his sister in a coma and about ready to slip into eternity, I came face to face with the fact that I didn't really care that she was about to enter the gates of Hell. When that thought hit me, I fell to my knees sobbing and unashamedly pleading with God to have mercy on her, to not let her die and go to Hell. I prayed like she was my sister on her way to Hell. I pulled out all the stops, motivated by a love that welled up in me for a woman I had never met. I received the news a few hours later... Amazingly she had awakened from the coma, was telling jokes and was expected to be released after a couple more days of observation. I learned something new about prayer that day and its intended role in our lives. That's why I'm sending you this email. Never in our history have we needed a potent prayer life more than now. With that in mind, I'm inviting you to get one of the most powerful teachings on prayer I have ever seen, along with my audio series, Pathway to Prayer. Both are available for instant download now. Click here for details and thanks for praying for me this week!

Hi Michael,
First, excuse me my english is not 100 percent. I would like to tell you about a company and how is working now. Is a owner of a little drugstore, he saw that all the benefits and all the services and the better condition, te better prices, the supplier offer to the biggest drugstores, and he decided to invite to form a group with many little drugstores, and to buy together, they choose one name to all the drugstores, and they buy together now. They began to operate since the last november and in 5 month they grow a lot as a group.
I think that is a very good idea.

As I read this email, I am reminded of the impact of prayer this past week. I am involved with online communties and received an email from a person I had never met. From visiting her website I knew she loved the Lord very deeply. Her prayer request hit home. Oklahoma was on fire and was closing in on her farm, only miles away with high winds. She was sending out a powerful request and believing in the power of prayer.
I have learned; when the Holy Spirit pricks your heart - listen! As a result I forwarded her email to other prayer warriors and got on my knees and prayed the rest of the night. I could see the Lord placing His hedge of protection around their farm keeping them safe.
The next morning I was searching for results. Finally an email came to the group from one of her friends; they were fine, their farm had been saved because of, in her words, \"God placing a hedge of protection around them.\"
Praise God and to Him be the Glory! There is more power in prayer than any one of us realizes.
So I would also ask; please pray for us and our new business venture. That it will bring God glory and be a help to those in need.
And we will continue to lift you up in prayer as well.

Hi Michael,
Great post! Heaven awaits us, but not everyone will be there with us. What are we doing about it? I read the book \"23 Minutes in Hell\" by Bill Wiese and was greatly moved by what he experienced there. I was moved about our govt. leaders who may very well be on their way there right now. Not prejudging - just looking at their fruit. Anyway, through our ministry and a special deal with the publisher of the book, I am working on raising the funds to send a copy of the book to each of the senators, representatives, Pres. Obama, VP Biden, Hillary, the nine supreme court justices and the cabinet members. This is not a fund raising scheme; I want to see as many come to the Lord as possible and the others to know what awaits them should they not receive His mercy. Just wanted to pass that along, as it will take prayer for it to work and them to read the book.

Indeed I agree with you brother Michael. We need to step up to the prayer plate like never before in these days. God Graced me sometime last year by answering my plea's regarding a colleage who text me moments before she attempted to comit suicide. However, she did not indicate outrightly her intended suicide, but her message was strange and immediately I received that the encryted message was that she was going to do this grim deed. Whilst driving, I immediately interceded for her and batteled the spirit of death over her. After an intence session, I felt a calm over me and i knew she'd be fine. a Number of days went by and I heard nithing from her and I got worried. Then out the blue, I received another text from her asking that I should call her. I immediately called on her, onky to discover my worst fears came true, but my greatest faith was also realized. She indeed took a cocktail of drugs which knocked her out, and indeed was going to kill her, however, great however, Yahwe Elohim heard my cries for her life, and He forsaw and ensured that she did not die. Praise be His name, forever!!!

Dear Michael,
It is so true that \"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much\" as per James 5:16. And it is also very true that it is appointed unto men once to die and after that the judgment as per Hebrews 9:27. (This truth is, of course, based upon Genesis 3:19 in which God says to Adam, \"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return to the ground; for out of it wast taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.\" King Solomon adds to this truth in Eccl. 12:7 where he says, \"Then shall the dust return to the return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.\"
If we spiritually compare and contrast the truth of these verses we should see that after a man dies (physically speaking) he faces \"the judgment\" and his spirit \"returns to God\" who gave it. In Old Testament times, the place where departed spirits went, who were \"sometime\" disobedient, was referred to as a \"prison\" in Isaiah 42:7 and in 1Peter 3:19. Originally this prison was controlled by the angel Lucifer (Satan). But after Jesus died on the cross he went and preached to the, \"sometime disobedient\" spirits in this \"prison\" and he took the keys of this prison from Satan and he released all the spirits and took them with him to heaven. Thus did Lucifer (Satan) lose control of the death prison and all spirits contained therein. Now, when anyone (any disobedient and unbelieving sinner) dies, he is absent from the body and present with the Lord. There is now no place, other than with God, for a \"sometime\" disobedient and unbelieving sinner to go. In other words, there is now, no prison called hell, where an unbelieving sinner will go after he dies to be tormented forever. Amen! This is the greatest good news ever!. But Satan has very cleverly and effectively blinded most of the modern Evangelical Church to this truth. He has given them strong delusion that they should believe a lie that only those who have accepted Jesus as their personal savior will go to heaven when they die and all unbelievers will go to hell of ever. This is a seducing doctrine of the devil that engenders a type of \"exclusive\" pride in people who believe this lie to think they are saved while others are not. This is similar to the lie the Parisees believed about their \"exclusive\" salvation because they were the children of Abraham. To rebuke this exclusive evil attitude of the Pharisees, Jesus told them a parody of a rich man and a poor beggar named Lazarus. In this parody, he depicted poor Lazarus in the \"bosom of Abraham\" and the rich Pharisees as the the rich man in the fiery pit of hell that the Pharisees wrongly believed awaited those who were not of the seed of Abraham. Jesus was mocking their ignorant view of hell when he depicted the rich man in hell being in torments, and seeing Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. and he cried and said, father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Lazurus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.\" The idea that a man' s body would would be in hell thirsting for water forever and that one drop of water would do anything to assuage his thirst is quite silly if you think about it. I am sure there were many in the crowd who were laughing at Jesus' s very illustrative parody.
Today God has raised up men like Carlton Pearson to dispel this lie about hell and to proclaim that God' s salvation \"includes\" all sinners (all mankind). Carlton has written a book called the \"Gospel of Inclusion\" that purports the truth that it is God' s will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Of course the deceived Evangelical Church has mostly all rejected Carlton and his true gospel message of inclusion. And Carlton' s mega-church of 20,000+ people have left him and his mentor Oral Roberts wrote him a 12 page letter trying to convince him of the error of his thoughts and ways. But this has not changed Carlton' s mind or stolen the peace he has received from the revelation that there is no eternal hell for unbleivers. It seems to me that that God is also revealing this truth into the hearts of other prominent ministers of the Evangelical Church such as Billy Graham and Joel Osteen who were unable to tell Larry King on his TV show that those who would not accept Jesus as personal savior would go to Hell forever. They would only say that God would be the judge. The anger, furor and negative feedback Billy and Joel got from their fellow brothers and siters in Christ was most amazing. Some said Billy and Joel were going to hell. This anger is quite similar to the anger Muslims feel when they are confronted with the truth that Satan influenced their prophet Mohammad who was a murderer like Cain. But just as God forgave Cain and protected him so will God forgive and protect all sinners who come under the sway of Satan. Father God does not judge any man but rather He forgives all mankind because we do not have enough truth to know what we are doing much less know what God is doing.
God' s judgment of this world is the judgment that separates the seed and works of the devil (the tares) from the seed and works of God (the wheat). The works of the devil are bound up like weeds (tares) and are burned in the lake of fire while the wheat of God is brought into the storehouse of his kingdom on earth. Thus, no seed of God in any human being is ever cast into the fires of hell forever. We will be tried by fire until all the evil (dross)(tares)(goats) are removed from us but every man will be saved yet so as by fire. Ever human being has the seed of God. It is the image of God (Christ) in which all men are created. This seed of God is in all mankind and it cannot sin and it cannot die or be destroyed in hell forever
Jesus said, \"Now is the judgement of this world. Now is the prince of this world cast out. And I, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.\" John 12:31-32.
Jesus has been lifted up and the seed of the devil, our flesh, has been removed from us and nailed to his cross. This is the mystery of the cross. When we look at the cross we should should see the serpent' s head, our flesh natures, nailed to the cross just as the bronze serpent was nailed to Moses' s pole that he lifted up for all the people to see. When we, as with the Hebrew people in Moses' s day, look upon our sinful natures removed from our minds and hearts and nailed to the cross of Calavary, then we, as with the ancient Hebrews, will be healed from the venom of sin that plagues us and kills our mortal bodies. In this great mystery, the devil is cast out of the conscience of mankind and all men will then be able to hear Jesus' s voice and come unto him. And we will all then be able to say, along with St. Paul, I am crucified with Christ but nevertheless I live but it is not I but Christ who lives in me. If our hearts have been too hardened by the cares of this world to believe God' s truth then God will provide new hearts and put his spirit in them so they can believe and walk in God' s statututes to do them as per Ezek 36:26-27.
But as for now, most people in the world are ignorant of this great mystery of God. And the venom of the defeated impotent devil is still working its deceptive poison that steals the kingdom word from men' s hearts as soon as it is received. But God is now at work neutralizing Satan' s poison and renewing and restoring minds and hearts so that his kingdom gospel truth is revealed to all men and received into their hearts and minds where it will grow and produce the fruits of God' s spirit, love joy, peace etc.
We should already be seeing kingdom communities forming in all parts of the world where, like with the early Christians, God' s love prevails and they hold all things in common, where no man selfishly considers anything their own. They all know that everything belongs to God and that it is his good pleasure that they all share the wealth of his kindom on earth. And those who have houses and lands share their excess wealth with those who have need. This brings about God' s redistribution of His wealth. When evil ungodly men try to control and force the redistribution of wealth it is inquity that is called communism. But when people like Ananias and Saphira are influenced by the devil to try to hinder God' s redistribution of his weatlh by holding back their contribution toward God' s redistribution then God has ways of removing Satan' s influence from his process of his wealth redistribution. One of theses ways is to destroy man' s flesh by simply requiring their souls so that they give up God' s spirit in them for the time being and their fleshly body dies and returns to the earth from whence it came. This happened to Ananias and Saphira, and also to Karl Marx, Stalin, Mao, and many other selfish socialist communist leaders. But in the future they will be restored and resurrected into an immortal body to once again participate in God' s kingdom community on earth.
Kingdom blessings,
David Thompson
David Thompson at 4:21pm EDT - April 25, 2009
OK, David Thompson, you and Carlton Pearson hold to a heretical view that is a true lie from Satan. Mathew 13:38 clearly states that the good seed (producing wheat) are the sons of the Kingdom and the bad seed (producing tares) are the sons of the evil one. This is no longer a parable but a statement of fact by Jesus. This isn't a mystical statement of allegory but one where Jesus explicitly says that the sons of the evil one will be cast into a furnace of fire at the end of the age. Paul said in Romans that you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord to be saved. I don't have the answer for the people who place themselves above God and question this based on misplaced mercy that people shouldn't somehow be a vessel of dishonor.
David, your long assertions of \"truth\" have to be challenged. Your previous posts on redistribution of wealth based on Acts are filled with error. Jesus's teaching on redistribution of wealth can be seen in the parable of the talents, \"to him who has, more will be given and to him who has not, it will be taken away\". Jesus concerned himself with stewardship above equality. Of course we are to display the fruits of the Spirit and the character of God by giving to needs that we are confronted with. But this is very different than redistributing wealth. In my opinion, (and it is just that, an opinion), God is going to \"redistribute wealth\" to believers by giving them ideas like Bill Gates got. Then people will freely give of their money to this idea through purchase of a product or service. It is not going to be a mystical shopping bag of money showing up on your doorstep or the civil government taking it from us.
The gospel of inclusion promulgation will result in people going to hell.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8:
The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. (NAS)

The following is a quote from Bob Waldrep:
\"The problem, as with all who offer a different gospel, is that it isn't a harmless message. By denying the true gospel, it leads people from the truth; it becomes a barrier to their responding to the real gospel of Jesus. As such, it places them in great danger, as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians in the passage quoted above. But Paul wrote that not only are those who respond to a false gospel in danger, but so is the one who presents such a gospel:
But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. (Galatians 1:8-11; NAS)
One of the false gospels that gain the favor of men today is Carlton Pearson's gospel: a gospel in which everyone will be saved even if they do not believe in Jesus. This is not the gospel Paul preached, nor is it the gospel Jesus declared when He said, \"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies.\" (John 11:25; NAS)
Michael B. at 5:15pm EDT - April 28, 2009
Dear Michael,
Surely you know that the only gospel Jesus and his apostles ever preached was the gospel of the kingdom of God coming to earth. This gospel was God' s good news that through the coming of his kingdom to earth all men would be saved and come to the knoiwledge of the truth.
The true gospel is not the evangelical gospel of personal salvation for only those who accept Jesus as their personal savior. This a selfish manmade gospel. Jesus never said anything about accepting him as personal savior to go to heaven when you die. That gospel is a concoction of church fathers who have not understood the Bible and what it teaches about
God' s salvation that comes to all creation as He restores his kingdom on earth. God sent his Son Jesus to destroy the evil works of the devil and to refine and purify his whole creation from the corruption of the devil.
This release and cleansing from corruption is set forth in Romans 8:20-22, \"For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope. Because the creature itself shall also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. For we know the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. and not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the spirit...
In God' s kingdom salvation all human beings are tried and purified by fire just as a gold refiner purifies his gold in the fire. But the refiner leaves the gold bar in the fire only until he can see his image in the bar. Then he removes it lest the gold melt and be lost. So it is with God' s jugment of mankind. God leaves us in the fire just until he can see his image, which is Christ. All mankind were created in the image of God, Christ Jesus, unto good works as per Ephesians 2:10. But after the dross of sin is burned off of us, God removes us from the fire and places us in his kingdom on earth to live enternally in our purified and immortal state forever. God has no reason or purpose to leave any human being in the fires of hell forever.
The concept of men spending eternity in the fires of hell forever is a concoction of church fathers back in the 5th century. Read all about it in the book called the Jerome Conspiracy on the Internet. The are many other books that reveal the truth that no human being will wind up in hell forever.
Most fundamentalist Christians who think they know the Bible, when they first hear the truth that there is no eternal hell for unbelievers, their minds race with many verses they think refutes this idea. I used to be one of those fundamentalists but since God has revealed his kingdom in me and renewed my mind from my perspective to his perspective, I now see there is no verse, when properly translated, that says anything about a human being going to hell forever. All the books that report experiences in hell prove that hell is not an eternal prison with no exit possible, otherwise the people who say they were in hell would still be there. But I know that most people who have near death and hell experiences are just hallucinating with all the erroneous teaching that has filled their minds with fears of hell.
The book called the Jerome Conpiracy sheds much light on when and why churh fathers concocted the idea of people going to hell forever. This was an erroneous doctrine of the pharisees that has been perpetuated by church fathers under the direction of probably controlling nicolaitan and jezebel spirit that Jesus says God hates (See Rev. 2:15). Jesus refuted this ungodly dotrine of the Pharisees when he parodied that belief with his parody of the rich man and Lazarus.
Michael, only God can and will reveal to you the truth that there is no hell for unbelievers and I am praying he will do so very soon so you will stop perpetuating this lie in your ministry. I hope your conscience regarding eternal hell is not seared as with a hot iron as St. Paul writes in 1Timothy 4:2.
I have said all I feel led to say about this at this time. But I would be happy to respond to any questions or revelations you might have that you feel in some way supports the false doctrine of eternal hell for unbelievers. I know this hellish doctrine is born out of selfish pride and not of the love of God. Now that I know the truth, I continue to marvel why any loving person like yourself would want to believe that God would allow any of his children to suffer in hell forever to pay for sins they commited in one lifetime. The punishment certainly does not match the crime.
Your brother in Christ,
David Thompson
David Thompson at 1:25am EDT - April 29, 2009
Dear David,
You have taken a lot of space to explain your stand on the reason why there is no hell. However, John 3:16 still explains the whole gospel message in just a few words, part of which are \"he who believes in Me should not perish, but have eternal life.\" The Amp. Bible defines believe as \"trust in, adhere to, rely on.\" So it seems to me that only those who trust in, adhere to, rely on Jesus, will be saved or have eternal life. And I believe it can also be said that those who do not meet these conditions will not have eternal life.
I also think that satan would sow just the opposite lie, that there is no hell, so there is nothing to fear. live like you want to, because you're on your way to heaven anyway.
And concerning the book I mentioned in an earlier post, 23 Minutes in Hell, what is your position on that? Do you believe it was just a bad dream or that the author is one of us who are trying to deceive people into believing there is a hell? Maybe you could use one of those Bibles I once heard about - the one written in #2 pencil lead, so you can erase any part you do not believe in??? Pray you actually do see the light.

Tom Shaw at 7:36am EDT - April 29, 2009
\"A six-foot tall man is much taller than a four-foot tall man. The difference is quite obvious. Yet, when you compare these two men next to a 60’ foot light post, the men look quite similar in height. Likewise, when you compare a \"good\" person next to Hitler, we can see a major difference. However, when you compare them against God’s high standard, the difference between Hitler and the \"good\" person shrinks tremendously.\"
... we must take our doctrines from the Bible. If the Bible is clear on a subject, we are bound to follow its teaching. So, the question is, does the Bible clearly teach the punishment of Hell will be forever? Hell, of course, was created for the fallen angels. The Bible does say these demons will be punished in Hell for eternity. The following verses talk about Hell being forever: \" Michael Bronson
Mt 25:41 \"… eternal fires prepared for the devil and his angels.\"
Jude 6 The angels will be bound with \"everlasting chains.\"
Rev. 20:10 The devil, beast, and false prophet being tormented \"forever and ever.\"
Mt. 18:8 \"… thrown into eternal fire.\"
Mk 9:43 \"…fire never goes out.\"
Mk 9:48 \"…worm never dies and the fire is not quenched.\"
Is. 33:14 \"… with everlasting burning.\"
Luke 3:17 \"… with unquenchable fire.\"
Mt. 3:12 \"… with unquenchable fire.\"
\"The Christians who believe in limited punishment point to the fact that Hell was not created for the fallen human race, but rather for the fallen angels. They say it is the angels who will be punished for eternity, not the humans. Therefore, the verses talking about the eternal fires only mean the fires will be burning forever for the demons.
Although I would love to believe Hell is only a temporary punishment for humans, I cannot find any verses that indicate it. I do not like the idea of a person being punished for eternity, especially the \"sweet old grandmother.\" As much as I dislike the concept of eternal punishment, I have to abide by what the Bible teaches. The question is, therefore, what does the Bible say about punishment for the fallen human race. Following are verses that deal with the punishment for humans:\"
Mt. 25:46 \"They will go away to eternal punishment.\"
Heb. 6:2 \"… the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.\"
Jude 7 The people of Sodom and Gomorrah serve as an example of those who suffer the \"punishment of eternal fires.\"
Dan. 12:2 \"… some to everlasting life, other to shame and everlasting contempt.\"
2 Th. 1:9 \"…they will be punished with everlasting destruction.\"
Gal. 1:8 If someone preaches another gospel, he is to be \"eternally condemned.\"
Is. 66:24 Those that rebelled against God, \"Their worm will not die, nor will the fire be quenched.\"
Rev. 14:10-11 \"And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever\"
Mk. 3:29 Those who blaspheme will be guilty of an \"eternal sin.\"
Is. 34:8-10 \"Lord has a day of vengeance … it will not be quenched night or day. Its smoke will rise forever.\"
\"The Bible does teach the punishment in Hell will last forever. I don’t understand it nor do I like it. I am, however, obligated to accept it. I have two choices: I can either spend my time thinking about how unfair God is for doing this, or I can spend my time and energy trying to find ways to keep people from going to Hell in the first place.\"
BTW, I am quoting Michael Bronson but I, Michael B. am not Bronson. The one thing we agree on is Jesus preached a Gospel of The Kingdom not a gospel of salvation. Where we differ is that salvation on this earth is essential for gaining citizenship to the Kingdom of God. Unless a man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. If a man confess with his mouth and believe in his heart, Jesus is Lord, he will be saved. Once you are dead you can no longer confess with your mouth. Whenever someone begins to claim special exegetical, hermeneutical, or revelatory abilitities that do not line up with the already revealed Word of God, my spidy sense starts tingling.
To be a disciple of Jesus, you must die to yourself, pick up your cross, and FOLLOW HIM. Jesus said in Mathew 7:22-23 \"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' \"
The gospel of inclusion tells people, \"Aw, don't worry about knowing Jesus now, it will all work out in the end.\" I have a hard time seeing how this philosophy helps to see \"His Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven\". A whole lot of truth wrapped around one little lie is still a lie and liars will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9-10). Sorry David, the lie of the gospel of inclusion will send people to hell forever.
Michael B. at 9:00am EDT - April 29, 2009
Dear Michael,
The two or three pages you have written in your repsonses regarding eternal damnation was probably also included in Oral Robert' s 12 page letter to Carlton Pearson trying to get him to reconsider his thinking regarding what he calls the gospel of Inclusion. So you may have 8 or 9 pages left of rationale to support why you believe the hideous doctrine of eternal damnation for sweet old grandmothers who do not believe in Jesus.
I cite the Bible as much as you do but our interpretations are quite different. Calton and I and a rapidly growing number of many others today used to interpret the Bible like you, Oral and most of Christendom does. But as you well know, Jesus left his Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. He did not say he left the Bible, because he knew that using our rational carnal minds to interpret the Bible would not lead us to all truth. The way of objective hermeutical study of the Bible that came to us from the Greeks will not reveal the spiritual truth of scripture. The Holy Spirit tells me that only he can reveal the truth of scripture that he inspired and only he can lead a person to jesus and to the Holy Father, to see His kingdom and to be saved out of this corrupt world in which we live. The Holy Spirit has revealed to me that the satanic serpent imparted his evil corrupting seed into Eve, the mother of all humanity, in the Garden of Eden, when he deceived Eve to eat from the forbidden tree of good and evil. In his, oh so subtle deception, he refuted and twisted God's word telling pure and naive Eve, 'You shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. The subtle serpent was correct in saying Eve's eyes would be opened to know good and evil as we can read in Genesis 3:7 that the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. The Holy Spirit has revealed to me the the nakedness Adam and Eve experienced was the nakedness of self awareness. The serpent had successfully planted his seed of selfishness into Adam and Eve so that their newfound knowledge of good and evil was from their own self perspective and understanding, not from God' s perspective and understanding. In their new state of self awareness and self perspective, what was good for Adam might not necessarily be good for Eve and vice versa. Thus was opened the allegorical Pandora' s box of evil in which all human beings would operate under the control of self which is the seed of the satanic serpent. In God' s curse on the satanic serpent, he said, \"Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and the dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: I will put enmity between thy seed and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. And unto the woman he said I will multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. and unto Adam God said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the vioce of thy wife, and hast eaten from the tree of which I commnaded thee , thou shalt not eat of it; cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow thou shalt eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee..etc.
From this curse of God, the Holy Spirit shows me that Adam and Eve died carnally, not spiritually. Their punishment for their ignorance in hearkening to the voice of the satanic serpent was to experience pain, sorrow and toil all the days of their life until they died physically as well as carnally. The Holy spirit has shown me that after thy died, their spirits would return to God in his death prison awaitng release and resurrection while their bodies would return to the dust of the earth from whence it came. During their lifetime, the seed of the satanic serpent would bruise their heel (i.e. hinder their walk) while God' s seed in them (Christ, the image of God) would eventualy bruise the satanic serpent' s head so he could no longer have any affect upon the seed of God in Adam and Eve' s offspring. The fact that Adam' s body was made from the dust of the earth and that
God' s curse said that the satanic serpent would eat the dust of the earth seems to reemphasize that Satan would not only bruise the heel of man, he would eat man alive. Satan goes about seeking who he may devour.
In this, the Holy Spirit has revealed to me God's plan to restore his kingdom on earth is carried out by removing the corrupting influence of Satan so that the spirit of God in mankind, which is the great mystery of Christ in us, will once again rule and reign on earth. This perfect plan of God calls for all mankind to be purged of the evil influence of Satan. This removal and separation plan of God is reflected in Jesus' s parables, such as the separation of the goats from the sheep, the bad fish from the good fish and especially the separation of the tares from the wheat. And moreover Jesus asks us to deny our selves (the seed of satan in us all) so we can be his disciples. Jesus spoke to the seed of Satan in Peter (Peter's selfish pride) when he said to Peter, \"Get thee behing me, Satan: for thou savorest not the things of God, but the things that be of men.\" Jesus also told Peter that, \"Satan wants to sift you like wheat but I have prayed fro you and after you are converted (away from satanic influnece), strenghten your brethren.\"
Dear Michael Pink, when we read and study the Bible, if we do not start from God' s eternal plan and perspective we will interpret everything in scripture from our own understanding which is man's selfish perspective which is Satan' s sinful perspective. God has ordained that Satan delude us all that we should believe a lie. I was deluded like you are for forty years. The Holy Spirit has shown me that one of Satan' s greatest delusions is that God' s seed in mankind, God' s children, would spend an eternity in the cleansing and purging fires of hell forever. From God' s perspective this is both ludicrous and laughable. But from Satan' s perspective which is the perspective of carnal man, satan' s seed in man, all those verses you cited seem to be saying to you that unbelieving mankind will spend an enterity in the Hell that God prepared for satan and his fallen angels. But the Holy Spirit has revealed to me that unbelief is one of the devil's works that God sent Jesus to earth to destroy. But even if Satan is able to successfully harden a person' s heart so they cannot believe, God says in ezekiel 36:26, \"A new heart also I will give you and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out out of your flesh, and I wiull give you a heart of flesh.\" I will put my spirit within you you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my statutes, and to do them.\"
Your spidy sense should start tingling from reading this mighty word of God because dare I say that your spidy sense is of the evil one who knows that his days are coming to an end and that God forgives all mankind and will not let any of his holy one' s be cast into hell forever simply because the devil was able to harden their hearts so they could not believe.
Michael, the devil has deceived you into believing the devil' s lie that mankind is responsible for their own salavation by chosing to believe in Jesus. The Holy Spirit has shown me that Jesus died for all mankind while we were all yet sinners and unable to believe. The mysterious work of God on the cross of Calvary has destroyed our evil flesh seed and nailed it to Jesus' s cross so we can say with St. Paul, \"I (my flesh seed) am crucified with Christ but nevertheless I live but it is not I (my flesh seed) but Christ that lives in me. What God did on the cross of Calvary happend and its effectualness is not conditioned on whether we believe it or not. We had no choice in being born from our mother' s womb and for sure we have no choice in being born again. But Satan has been able to convince many poeple that it is necessary for a person to believe to be born again and saved when persons (our selves, the seed of satan) actually cannot be saved. God is no respector of persons. Therefore the very idea of Jesus as our personal savior comes from a seducing spirit of the devil that tries to make us belief that our selfish self can be saved by accepting Jesus as our personal savior.
The seed of God in mankind that St. Paul refers to as the inward man, delights in the law of God. This seed of God in all mankind, which is Christ, does not sin as per 1John 3:9.
Michael Pink, when the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the two seeds that dwell in all mankind that are at odds with each other so there is enmity and Jihad in the souls of every human being, you will then be able to understand that the judgment of God is a very good thing we should look forward to and pray for because it will remove the evil seed so that
God' s seed is then perfected in us into the image and stature of Christ.
This is God' s process of salvation. You will then understand that God will circumsize every hardened heart so that every human will be able to believe and be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. You will then know and understand that God' s salvation is his sovereign work that it is imposible with man, with man' s very limited power to believe or do anything. Any measure of faith we may have to believe is a gift from God given to us for his sake so that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father. Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of God' s Universal Eternal Salvation. Most all the early church knew and believed that God' s salvation was universal for all mankind and that it was not conditioned upon mankind' s belief.
St. Paul says in 2Timothy 2:13, \"If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful he cannot deny himself.\" The Holy Spirit has showed me that this means God will not condemn anyone to hell forever because of their unbelief because God's nature of love cannot allow it. He cannot hold mankind accountable for unbelief that he orchestrated as a work of the devil. Jesus told his disciples that Satan comes and steals the word of the kingdom as soon as it is sown into a human heart. (See Mark 4:15). How can the God who is love hold mankind accountable fro believing his kingdom word when he has ordained that Satan steal the kingdom word after it was sown in their hearts? Would you not at least agree that this is a great mystery?
Kingdom peace, love and joy to you,

David,
I am neither Michael Pink nor Michael Bronson who I quoted above. I have never seen Oral Roberts response to Carlton Pearson.
I have, however, studied the scriptures quoted above in the original greek and hebrew. I would love to hear how you \"interpret\" Mathew 25:31-46 or Mathew 13:36-42. If we don't agree that the Bible is the inspired word of God then we don't have common ground to even be in this discussion.
The Holy Spirit does lead us into all truth but He never contradicts truth that has already been revealed. Newton's discovery of the law of motion (F=Ma) was a revelation from God that has had significant impact on God's earthly Kingdom. It was a \"new\" revelation but it didn't contradict any of God's already revealed truth through the Word.
The gift of grace to me is the real mystery. While I was a sinner Jesus died for me. I wasn't searching for God when he arrested me and gave me the gift of repentance. I certainly didn't deserve it. But I believed by the grace given to me. The New Testament is replete with testimony to the necessity of believing in Christ for salvation. The gospel of inclusion is spiritual AND intellectual suicide.
Address the scriptures quoted above that clearly state that unbelieving, unregenerated, unsaved PEOPLE will spend eternity in hell.

David,
I have not seen anyone quote Rev. 21:8 which gives us a list of those who will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. This scripture is not found in the O.T., neither is it talking about before Jesus went to the cross and rose again. I do not believe this is talking either about just the devil and his demons, but rather about human beings. How do you contradict this scripture?
Tom Shaw at 6:03pm EDT - April 29, 2009
Micael B.
We have both been taught that the Bible is the inspired word of God. However, The Holy Spirit has revealed to me that this is a meaningless manmade doctrine that does not give any glory to God because the written words of the Bible can mean whatever the unenlightened reader interprets them to mean. And the unenlightened natural man reader will more likely than not take glory for himself in his self absorbed interpretation of scripture. The history related in the Bible indicate that for most of the history of the world there was no writen bible for people to read and misinterpret. Instead God spoke his rhema word diretly into people hearts and minds. It is the rhema kingdom word of God that man cannot live without. It has been my spiritual observation that Satan has used the written Bible to distract mankind from listening for, hearing and understandin God' s rhema kingdom word. If people in Jesus day were as absorbed with reading and misinterpreting the Bible as Evangelical Christians are today, Ananias may not have been expecting to hear the spirit of Jesus talking to him and telling him to go see Saul of tarsus.
I used to interpret Mathew 25:31-46 and Mathew 13:36-42 from my self- perspective as a proud professed \"born-again\" Christian who ardently believed that because I believed in Christ and had accepted him as my personal savior that I was going to heaven when I died and that any who did not believe as I did were doomed to spend eternity in hellish torment. Therefore, I interpreted these passages of scripture in such a way that I and all believers were the wheat and the sheep and unbelievers were the tares and goats who would be judged and wind up in hell fire forever that was prepared for the devil and his angels. I realize now, after God renewed my mind a few years ago, that this proud selfish belief and mindset of mine was similar to the proud self-emulating belief and mindset of the Pharisees who believed they were going to heaven when they died because they were of the seed of Abraham. To dispel this wrongheaded belief in the mind of the Pharisees, Jesus mocked it publicly by telling a parody of this belief in his made-up ficticious story about a rich man and a beggar named Lasarus. This was but one the ways that Jesus spoiled principalities and powers of the devil and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (See Colossians 2:15) What I find as ironic and quite funny is that people today who hold to a similar self-emulating doctrine of eternal damnation actually believe that Jesus was teaching a doctrine of eternal damnation of unbelievers, even though the parody says nothing about unbelievers going to hell. The rich man was seemingly depicted in hell just because he was rich and Lazarus was seemingly in heaven (the bosom of Abraham) because he was poor?
Now, with my mind renewed, I read these passages of scripture in Matthew 25:31-46 and 13:36-42 spiritually from God' s plan, purpose and perspective. From God' s plan and perspective, Matt. 25:31-46 depicts the judgment seat of Christ at which the evil influences of Satan are finally and fully purged and removed from the conscience of mankind and from all of God' s creation. We should rejoice in the judgments of God because they are true and righteous altogether as King David says in Psalm 19:9. God' s judments always result in the purifcation of his creation. In God' s plan he judges no man worthy of eternal damnation. Moreover, in John 5:22, Jesus says, God the the Father judges no man but has commited all judment unto the son. And Jesus' s judgment is to forgive mankind because they don' t know what they are doing. At the judgment seat of Christ at which every man will appear as depicted in Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus separates the sheep(allegorically God' s seed that produces the fruits of the spirit in the heart of man) from the goats which allegorically represent the seed of Satan the produces the evil works of the devil.
To reiterate, from God' s spiritual viewpoint the wheat and sheep are allegories of the spiritual influences of God' s seed that operate in the conscience of all mankind to produce the spiritual fruits of God which are love, joy, peace, mercy, self control etc. Whereas, the tares and goats are allegories of the seed and influences of the devil that produce the works of the devil that St. Paul contrasts with the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:19-23. The works of the devil are listed as Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies etc. 1John chapter 3:8 says that because he that sins is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning, for this purpose, Jesus was manifested, that he might destroy these works of the devil. The seed of the devil acts just like a virus in a computer or in a human brain. they cannot be seen but they are able to cause a computer or human body to malfunction (sin). Viruses, like Satan and his minions (influences), do not have life. Viruses have no metabolism or respiration. Therefore, they are not written in the book of life as all human beings are, who were conceived in God' s mind before they were created in God' s imag, which is Christ Jesus.
Now you might say I am \"spiritualizing\" the interpretation of these verses and you are quite right because that is what is required to fully understand what Jesus is saying in the passages. It is important to point out that Jesus spoke these words in private to his disciples. He very astutley used metaphors and analogies of wheat, tares sheep and goats to relate spiritual truths to them in response to their questions about the signs of his coming and of the end of the world.
From God' s plan and perspective, Romans 8:29 says that \"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son , that he might be the first born of many brethern. Nowhere does the Bible indicate that God has planned for any human being whom he did foreknow to wind up in the fires of hell forever. But the Bible does say that that is God' s will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Therefore, from God' s perspective, the doctrine of everlasting hell for unbelievers cannot be supported in the Bible. This doctrine is one of the hideous doctrines of the devil that has permiated the church that is designed to scare people to run to church for protection and to pay their indulgences, tithes and offerings to support the church so they can hear false words that their flesh can be saved when it cannot. Anyone who ascribes to such an ungodly doctrine is deceived by the devil. But I know that Jesus is now busily at work destroying the delusions and deceptions of the devil. Hallelujah!
Let God be true and every man a liar.

David, you still did not answer about Rev. 21:8. If your theory is truly true, then it has to fit all the verses about hell and about burning in the lake of fire. Do you not have a reason why that particular verse does not fit your theology? Why does this verse not say what it seems to mean???

David,
Your mind is obviously made up. Brothers Michael B and Tom Shaw have painstakingly tried to shed some light into a dark belief system, but you would have none of it. Obviously no amount of logic or persuasive speech is going to get you to change your way of thinking. How sad. For a man who prides himself on being a thinker you are allowing yourself to be led away by a contrary doctrine/belief system. Please read Galatians 3 where Paul confronts the Galatians with his famous \"O foolish Galatians\" sermon. The Holy Spirit can never contradict the Holy Bible.
God loves you. \"For God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.\" God has given salvation to all who believe on the name of His Son. I am not going to try to persuade you with logic, because you will come with a \"what about this\" statement. Even Jesus when He was tempted by the devil did not use logic, He simply quoted scriptures. It is written my brother that \"...broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go by it(Matt 7:13).\"
I can go on and on, but the main thing is you must have a change of the heart. It's not with the mind, but with the heart. Otherwise only the smart will come to a loving relationship with the Lord. He has made it so that all who reject Him are without excuse. You must know in your heart that God is good. God is not an entity that you can control or figure out. If you could then He would not be God. When you were a child and your earthly father did things that you did not like could you stand up to him and tell him that you knew a better way? No, because you my friend was a child and he was an adult. Can the created tell the creator how to run the world? Who are we to tell God what should be the case? God is good and God is love. And you know what David Thompson? God loves you. Really seek Him and know Him.

The apologetics that are being discussed are central to the theology of every reader of this blog. This is not a nice little discussion about trivial matters of denominational differences. I am not attacking David Thompson personally, but I am challenging and attacking an ungodly doctrine that if held and promulgated is a fellowship breaker.
To David,
If the Bible is not the inspired Word of God but only a \"meaningless manmade doctrine\" then why do you use the Bible as a place to find arguments for your ungodly doctrine? You say \"the doctrine of everlasting hell for unbelievers cannot be supported in the Bible\". I quoted 10 scriptures above that say differently. You didn't address any of these.
You said \"the written words of the Bible can mean whatever the unenlightened reader interprets them to mean\". I can write the word \"yes\" and you can interpret it as \"no\" that doesn't make it right. Yes means yes. There are many forms of literature in the Bible, some much harder to follow than others. But there are also very clear text that when taken in context of the book or letter means what it means in the language of the writer.
David, you are wrong about Mathew 13:36-42. This is not allegory. As I wrote earlier, Mathew 13:38 clearly states that the good seed (producing wheat) are the sons of the Kingdom and the bad seed (producing tares) are the sons of the evil one. This is no longer a parable but a statement of fact by Jesus. This isn’t a mystical statement of allegory but one where Jesus explicitly says that the sons of the evil one will be cast into a furnace of fire at the end of the age.
In many of your arguments you set up a straw man or false premise against which you argue and make your claims. ie If you don't interpret scripture in an \"enlightened way\" you are interpreting it with a \"proud self-emulating mindset\" which obviously gives you the wrong interpretation.
David, you are setting yourself up as god. The pride that is exuding from your writing is frightening. The gospel of inclusion seems to set the primacy on sanctification instead of salvation. Unless a man be born again he cannot see or enter the Kingdom of Heaven. First things first.
You set up another straw man by making the statement that this doctrine is only to get money. Though man may use \"religion\" as a money grab, it is clear that my God never intended it that way. There are plenty of gatherings of believers that don't behave in this fashion.
It is my will that my children obey me at all times. But they don't. Yes it is God's will that none perish and all come to a knowledge of the truth. There are consequences to our actions. If God extends the gift of repentance and grace to man and he rejects it, then the man will be separated from God for eternity when he leaves time. That is eternal damnation. That is the Truth.

It is my understanding that the original post by Michael Pink was directed to the importance of prayer. The power of prayer. And while each of us has our own thoughts and idea's on the subject, I don't believe this is the place to hash out 18 pages of theology.
So in due respect, would you gentlemen please start your own blog with your concerns. This is not the place. Readers are here to learn from Michael Pink. His insights lead by the Holy Spirit directed towards Business.
End of story.

I respectfully disagree. When a wolf enters in to destroy the very foundations of what Michael Pink bases his teachng on then I will offer a counter from the Word of God.
Michael is obviously free to remove these posts and frankly, I wish he would remove all of them that contain heresy.
I am blown away that more of Michael's readers have not taken issue with the heresy that has been presented. Ignoring it does not make it go away. David Thompson posts a multi-page essay that goes off topic every time he posts.

To Tom Shaw,
Sorry for the delay in my response to you question about Rev. 21:8. I am very pleased to be able to answer your honest inquiry.
An interpretation of the Bible from God' s plan, purpose and perspective reveals that the sinners referred to in Rev. 21:8 cannot be souls created in Christ Jesus unto good works because quite obviously God created them to do good works, not to be liars, adulters, whoremongers etc. Therefore the sinners mentioned in this scripture can only be satanic demons that God created to tempt and test mankind and to cause mankind to sin, to lie, to commit adultery, to pimp whores and to do all the other works of the devil so that mankind might experience the evil onsequences of doing in our bodies taht cause our computers and our bodies to malfunction (sin) with disease. Viruses do not have life as humans have life.Tthey can not breathe or eat food. therefore they are not written in the book of life as all humans beings are.
1John 3:7 says Satan was the influence of sin from the beginning. It is Satan's seed in human beings that causes us to sin. It is not the seed of God (Christ the image of God) that causes mankind to sin because it is of God and it cannot and will not influence a human soul to sin. Moreover, in that God created Satan and his angels to temp, test and cause men to sin, he also created the lake of fire, the second death(separation) to be wasted and burned up after God has used them for his purpose of maturing (perfecting) God' s seed in mankind into the fullness of image and stature of Christ Jesus, God' s Son. Romans 8:29 reflects God intentions with respect to mankind all of whom he foreknew, and predestinated to be conformed to the image and stature of Christ Jesus. King David exclaims, \"What is man that thou are mindful of him and the son of man that you .....\" David was a sinner but God forgave him just as God forgives us all because, as Jesus said, we know not what we are doing (most of the time). David said God would not suffer his Holy One to suffer corruption in Hell. He was was referring, of course, to Christ Jesus whose mortal body was resurrected into a spiritual immortal body. It follows then that all those who are IN Christ Jesus will likewise be resurrected into a spiritual immortal body and will not wind up in hell forever. Jesus went to hell after his crucifixion but hell could not hold him because he had no sin. Likewise, we who are in Christ Jesus, also have no sin because the seed of God remains us and it cannot sin.
Tom, I know your head must be spinning by now wondering what on earth I am talking about. But I am confident that if you will submit your body to God as a living sacrifice as per Romans 12:1-2, and stop being conformed to the error you have been taught about humans experienceing eternal damnation, then God will allow you to prove his perfect will, which is to save all mankind and bring us all to the knowldge of the truth.
One last note: The church teaches that we get IN Christ Jesus when we accept Jesus as our personal savior but this is meaningless because all humans were In Christ Jesus the day we were born from our mother's womb. Moreover, all human beings were conceinved in the mind of God to be IN Crhist Jesus before the world was created. Thus did God foreknow all human souls. I might add that a human soul consists of a flehy body created from the dust of the earth into which God breathed his spirit, which is the spirit of Christ. When the word of God separates the spirit from a human soul as per Hebrews 4:12, only a dead body remains that returns to the dust from whence it came. But the spirit returns to God from whence it came (See Eccl. 12:8-9). The book of Genesis says that when God breathed his spirit into Adam, Adam became a living soul.
Let God be true and every man a liar.

Points made by David Thompson in his posts:
1. The Bible is NOT the inspired Word of God. “This is a meaningless manmade doctrine….”
2. You do NOT have to confess with your mouth Jesus and believe in your heart to be saved.
3. You do NOT have to call on the name of Jesus to be saved.
4. You do NOT have to be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
5. There is NO eternal punishment for your sins.
If you believe the above you can't be a Christian in business by definition. Pointing this out is the Love of God in action.

Thank you for posting reiterations of what I have written along with your perceptions of what I have written. This is very helpful for me to get such feedback to let me know what was communicated by the things I have written. As you well know, written communication has its drawbacks because many thoughts communicated with written words can take on different meanings to the reader of the written communication. Remember when Bill Clinton questioned the meaning of the word \"is\". I thought that was bit ridiculous but apparently Bill did not think so at the time or he would not have said what he said.
When I was addressing what I called a man-made doctrine I was referring to the doctrine of Biblical infalibility, not so much to the doctrine that says the Bible is inspired by God. Of course I know many Christian fundamentalists would not see any distinction between the doctrine of biblical infalibility and the doctrine that says the Bible is inspired by God. I know well that St. Paul wrote to Timothy, his son in the faith, that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2Tim. 3:16-17
I think many of us had to commit those verses to memory when we were being programmed to be good lock-step Christian Fundamentalists who would cite those verses as scriptural evidence to support the fundamentalist doctrine of Biblical infalibility. I also memorized the verses you cited such as Romans 10:9, \"For if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.\" As you well know such verses were used to \"lead\" an unbeliever to salvation in Christ. Over the years, having successfully used the fundamentalist methodology, such as the Roman Road verses, the Four Spiritual Laws and other verses, to lead unbelievers to Christ, I gradually came to the knowledge of the truth that neither Jesus or his disciples ever used such mehtodology to \"lead\" people to Christ. As I read the New Testament more closely under the illumination of the Holy spirit, I came to understand that the primary message of Jesus was always, \"Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.\" Most all his parables were about God' s kingdom coming to earth. I came to understand that the focus of God' s salvation was not in the afterlife but in our life here and now. As God began to use scripture to reveal the mystery of his kingdom coming to earth, I wondered why there was such a disconnect between what Jesus preached and taught and what Christian Fundamentalists preached and taught. My wonderment ended when I read Mark 4:15 that clearly said that Satan comes and steals the kingdom word that was sown in the hearts of mankind. This revelation opened up a whole new avenue of study for for me. As I began to study about Satan and his purpose in God' s plan, I was shocked to find out just how much God has ordained that Satan delude and deceive mankind, especially Christians and members of other religions.
I came to realize that the doctrine of biblical infalibility coupled with the doctrine called \"Sola Scriptura\" (meaning only the bible) are doctrines of the devil designed to get people to read the Bible and to look for God' s word for their daily life in the Bible instead of looking to the Holy Spirit to reveal God' s daily rhema word to them. This focus on the Bible has resulted in much confusion in the church and in the church being divided into thousands of sects and denominations based upon differing viewpoints and interpretations of the Bible.
I came to realize that 2Timothy 3:16-17, that was offered by Christian fundamentalists as scriptural evidence of Biblical infalibility, actually said nothing about Biblical infalibility but only that scripture was \"profitable\" for doctrine, reproof, corretion and instruction in rigtheousness.
I came to realize that Christian pastors used the doctrine of biblcal infalibility to control people to believe that the pastor' s interpretation of the Bible was infalible so that however the pastor interpreted the Bible could not be challenged because it came from the infalible Bible. Often when I challenge the interpretation of a pastor, I have been told, \"You must not touch the Lord' s annointed\"
And now you, my dear bother Michael B. are suggesting that what I write be removed from Michael Pink' s blog because you have deemed it heresy.
You say in my discourse that I set up straw men and then knock them down without any indication of where I do this this. I would appreciate it if you would tell me where I have set up a straw man so I can respond. You can tell me at my email address, DThomp6161@aol.com so we won' t keep dominating Michael' s blog. I believe God wants us to reconcile our belief and uderstanding of his written word, not compromise or agree to disagree but to actually reconcile so that we are believing the same thing. Amen

Be it known to all:
David Thompson has never rejected Jesus or his message to, \"Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.\" David Thompson knows through direct revelation from God that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God and the savior of the entire world. I, David Thompson, worship Jesus as my Lord and savior. Through direct revelation, I know that God our Father sent Jesus to earth to destroy the devil and his works in fulfillment of God' s prophecy that the seed of Eve, Jesus Christ, would bruise(crush) the head of the satanic serpent, which is the head of the devil. I know that Jesus crushed the devil' s head on the cross of Calvary. After Jesus died on the cross, he decended into hell. But hell could not hold him because he had no sin. Jesus' s mission in going to the death prison called hell was to release its spirit captives who were sometime disobedient even before the flood of Noah. Jesus preached God' s kingdom to the spirit captives in hell. He, then, took the keys of death and hell from the prison keeper, the devil, and took all the released spirit captives back to heaven with him (Jesus). As a result of this hell-plundering mission of Jesus, no disobedient human being will ever go to a hell controlled by the devil again. For sure no human spirit will ever experience eternal torment in hell forever. I first received this truth by direct revelation from the Holy Spirit and then I read it in 1Peter 3:18-21. Moreover, the Holy Spirit has revealed to me, that if I should die, I will not be going to either heaven or hell, but rather, heaven (God's kingdom) is coming to earth. If I should die, my spirit will return to God to await the great resurrection through which I expect to live eternally with God the Father, Jesus and all other human beings who have ever lived, in his holy and righteous kingdom on earth forever.
Those who will be resurrected to damnation (judgement) will expereince complete cleansing and purging of the seed of Satan in them so that they too will be able to live eternally in God' s righteous kingdom on earth. This is why the book of Revelation says Satan must be released again to tempt and test the nations again through his cunning deception. The devil is
God' s tool to test and perfect mankind to be conformed to the image and stature of Christ Jesus. After Satan has done the work God ordained him to do, he will no longer be needed and God will send him back into the outer darkness of the bottomless pit or He will burn him up in the Lake of Fire.
Jesus rebuked the blind Pharisees and Scribes who wrongly believed they were going heaven and others were going to hell forever when he told them in Matthew 23:13., \"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in your selves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in...for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.\"
I know that I am not shutting up the kingdom of heaven to men. I am not proselytizing anyone with the Christian fundamentalist lie that only true believing Christians are going to heaven and all others are going to hell forever. I know that God is love and that it is his will and plan that all men will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even all the blind Pharisees and all the blind fundamentalist Christians, Muslims, Hindus or whatever.

Dear Brothers and Sisters;
I see that quite a debate has been raging and it has been asked of me why I would not remove posts that are heretical in nature. Here is where I stand... While I firmly and strongly disagree with certain posts from time to time, I have found a great benefit in allowing them to remain. The benefit is that it often promotes dialog between differing views which allows us to better understand our own beliefs which may be being challenged by another post.
There are many things we believe but we cannot defend or even adequately express and the debate forces us to dig down and come to terms with the issues, understand the opposition, maybe even learn something of value from them and hopefully in the process grow in our walk with the Lord. We must be sure to avoid foolish and ignorant questions that produce strife (2 Tim 2:23) but if the desire is to come to a knowledge of the truth and the debate is done in a spirit of humility, I am fine with it.
The other benefit is this... There are readers who may well be asking those same questions and trying to decide for themselves what to believe on a matter as important as the one being debated here. I am not in the ultimate reconciliation camp but I believe there are or will be readers who find this discussion helpful.
Blessings,
Michael

Michael P.,
Thank you for your conciliatory remarks.
As you well know, St. Paul also wrote to Timothy to rightly divide the word of truth and to study to show himself approved of God. I have found this to be easier said than done, especially with repect to what Jesus said about the coming of the kingdom of God being a mystery. King Solomon wrote, \"It is the glory of god to conceal a thing and the honor of kings to search out a matter. And since we are all kings and priests it should be our honor to search out the mysteries of God. But I have found that few if any progammed Christian Fundamentalists desire to be so honored by God. they think they already understand the mysteries of God when most are greatly lacking in knowledge about the mystery of God' s kingdom coming to earth. I have observed during the 66 years of my life that most Fundamentalists for the most part have been programmed to accept what they have been taught without question, especially with such things as salvation and the doctrine of eternal damnation, which most find quite pugnent as you do. In my studies of the mysteries of God under the direction of the Holy Spirit, I have learned that
God' s plan for earth does not include condeming any of his children whom he foreknew to eternal damnation. On the contrary, He has predestined all he foreknew will be conformed to the image and stature of Christ, who is the image of God in whom all mankind were created.
I know this is the truth and it is constantly being confirmed for me every day as more and more kings and priests search out God' s mysteries and God reveals to them the full knowledge of the truth.
When I close with \"In His Majesty' s Secret Service\" I am not being trite. I know for sure that God has enlisted me in his Secret Service and has made me part of the Fellowship of his Mysteries. I think you are Beginning to undersatnd this.
Sincerely,
David Thompson

David,
I have one question for you and I will then leave it at that. You say that we, the \"fundamental Christians,\" are wrong in our belief that there is a hell to be feared by us, the human race. The question is, if we are wrong, what will we lose? According to how I understand you, we will still be allowed into heaven, into God's presence. We will lose nothing, except possibly be reproved by God for scaring people. But, if you are wrong, what are you looking at? You say you believe in Jesus as your Savior, so this may not directly apply to you. But, if you are wrong, what about all of those who may be influenced by you to believe as you do? If you are wrong, then they will be looking at hell, thinking all along that they could live like they desired, and still make heaven. If you are wrong, will you be able to face those people and explain how you used to believe there was a hell to be shunned, but then was persuaded that that was a lie? What will you say to them? Again, if we are wrong, we have nothing to lose. But if you are wrong, you're looking at an eternity in hell awaiting those who followed you. Do you want to bear that responsibility? I myself, would rather scare people away from an eternity in hell, if that is what it takes, and then find out it was all in vain, than to give people a false sense of well-being and bear for an eternity the responsibility for them being lost.
We have nothing to lose; you have the souls of men & women in your hands who will be lost, if you are wrong. You ready for that???
Tom Shaw
Tom Shaw at 5:33pm EDT - May 3, 2009
Tom Shaw,
I have heard your question and mangled reasoning before. It is laced with a taint of sarcasm that is grossly misplaced because the question reflects a lack of understanding of scripture and of God' s salvation.
Your question misses the point entirely that God' s plan for earth is to establish his kingdom on earth and to turn it over to those whom he foreknew and predestinated to be conformed to the image of his son Jesus Christ. Jesus said \"Fear not little flock for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.\" He is not talking about heaven in the after life in the sweet bye and bye. NO! He is talking about God' s kingdom in the sweet here and now on earth. (Luke 12:32)
God foreknew every human being that has ever lived on earth. All humanity was created in the image of God which is Christ Jesus. We were all created in Christ Jesus unto good works (Ephesians 2:10) As part of his perfecting plan to spiritually mature his people to be able to refuse the evil and chose the good as is prophesied about Messiah Jesus in Isaiah 7:16, God prepared an entity called the devil to tempt and test mankind to disobey God through all manner of deceit and manipulation. God has ordained that through the sufferings of this temptation and testing mankind would learn obedience. Even Jesus Christ learned obedience through the things that he suffered. (Hebrews 5:8)
What we call the passion of Christ was actually the agony he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemene when he sweated as it were drops of blood. He agonized over drinking the cup of death that God the Father set before him. The devil kept telling him, \"No, don't drink the cup. You don' t have to die. Worship me and I will give you all the kingdoms of the world.\" But finally, Jesus yielded to Father God saying, \"Not my will, but thy will be done.\" Isaiah 53: 11 says, He (God the Father) shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied.
Why was God satisfied? I have heard some say God was cruel to put Jesus through this. But for Jesus it was ecstatic peace and joy to have pleased his Father in heaven to have been found obedient without sin. Whenever any man yeilds up his will to God like this it is a sweet smelling savor unto God. Jesus said, \"Except a man deny himself (the selfish seed of Satan in every man) he cannot be his disciple.\" But what if a man is so taken up with himself that he cannot deny himself. Well Ezekiel 36:26 says God will give that man a new heart and put his spirit in it and cause him to walk in his statutes, and to do them. The bottom line is God' s salvation is all his work. Jesus said, with man salvation is impossible. (Mark 10:27)
But the fundamentalist Church seems to think that salvation is possible with man. They say all a man need do is repent and accept Jesus into his heart as his personal savior. Never mind that Jesus never said anything like this and never mind that Jesus is already in every man' s heart. Remember Ephesians 2:10 says we were created IN Christ Jesus unto good works. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve did not die spiritually as the church now erroneously teaches They died though becoming carnally minded. (see Romans 8:6) They acquired the selfish seed of Satan. They knew they were naked because they became self-aware. Their eyes were opened to know good and evil but in their self awareness and self-perspective what was good for Adam might not necessarily be good for Eve and vice versa.
Not only does the church try to make man responsible for his own salvation by having the right belief or by accepting what God has done, it teaches men that they are responible for the salvation of others by leading them to the Lord and getting them to say the sinners prayer or whatever. How many times have I heard that ridiculous analogy that salvation is a free gift but like all gifts you must recieve it otherwise you don' t have it. Nowhere does the Bible say God' s salvation is a free gift that must be received. Ephesians 2:8-9 says grace and faith is the gift of God through which we are saved. It does not say salvation is a free gift. But good luck on trying to convince a hardshelled fundamnetalist of this truth. Romans 6:23 says Eternal Life is the gift of God. But in this sense, it is a gift that every man has just like our temporal life. God gave it to us when we were born and we now know we are alive therefore we don't have to receive the gift of our life. Treating God' s salvation like some commodity the we must receive to have it is utterly ridicuous. God' s salvation is not a commodity. It is a process of renewing, restoring and maturing that we all must expereince and work out as we learn to obey God just as Jesus did. (Philippians 2:12)
1Timothy 2:4 indicates it is God' s will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
It is a very curious thing I have learned about mankind in my 66 years of life: When they don' t know the truth they will often fabricate it. It is the work of the devil to fill vacant minds that are void of the truth with his delusions and lies. St. Paul speaks of the gospel as being a mystery that requires revelation from God. It is not some easy-to-believe formula of accepting Christ as personal savior. Jesus says no one comes to the Father except the spirit lead him. And he told Peter that flesh and blood did not reveal to him that Jesus is the Christ the son of the Living God. This knowledge was revealed to him by God the Father. Jesus comissioned his apostles to go into all the world to preach the gospel, the good news of his kingdom being restored on earth and to teach the world everything that he taught them about the kingdom. In the absence of knowing what Jesus taught his apostles about God' s kingdom, the fundamentalist church has concocted an easy-to believe gospel and it teaches that Jesus' s great comission is to preach this gospel of accepting Jesus as personal savior to go to heaven after death and thereby escape eternal torment in hell forever. You ask \"If this is wrong, what do we lose? Well the problem is as Jesus told the Pharisees, \"It shuts up the kingdom of God to men.\" (Matt 23:13) But in God' s sight that is ok. This is what he has ordained in his plan and purpose for earth. He controls the revelation of the gospel of his kingdom being restored on earth. He will reveal it to every man in his due time.
In answer to your last statement that I have the souls of men & women in my hands who will be lost, I must say You do again err, not knowing scripture. God has not given any one but himself responsiblity for the destiny of the souls of mankind. He retains total responsibility for saving mankind. Moreover, He has already ordained and determined in his master plan for earth that all men will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth and will spend eternity in his kingdom on earth for ever. After Jesus died on the cross he descended into hell, preached the gospel of the kingdom and released its captives (disobedient spirits) and took the keys of death and hell from the devil. (1Peter 3:19-20) Now there is no hell controlled by the devil for a disobedient spirit to go to. I have used many scriptures to support what I am revealing but I know it will take the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of it. I have revealed what God has revealed to me and I feel confident that is what God wanted me to do. Amen

David,
The problem with emails is that how something is said is totally lacking. There was no sarcasm intended in my last post. It was written out of a heart of love, as much as I know how to do so. I'm sorry if what I said was taken in a way other than what was meant. I apologize for that.
Tom Shaw
Tom Shaw at 9:51am EDT - May 4, 2009
To Tom Shaw and other Christian Fundamentalists,
In the New Testament, the preaching of the one and only true gospel, the gospel of the kingdom was usually attendant with the miraculous and mysterious. Because of this, God selected only spiritually mature men to preach this gospel so they would know what was going on in the spiritual realm and be able to explain it. For example, when Peter first preached the gospel of the kingdom on the day of Pentecost, thousands of people from foreign nations that were in Jerusalem heard him speaking the wonderful works of God in their own native langauge when Peter was most likely only speaking Hebrew. (Acts 2:5-17) This was a miracle of hearing (not speaking) in \"tongues\" that reversed the \"confounding \" of tongues that occurred at the tower of Babel. It signified the beginning of God \"reconciling\" all men unto himself and each other instead of dividing them as happened at the tower of Babel. When Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, people were healed of all manner of diseases. This occured because the preaching of this gospel casts out the demons (viruses) that caused the diseases. Jesus said, \"If I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Luke 11:20) Because of this Satan intensifies his opposition to the preaching of the kingdom gospel. He even is able to\"steal\" this kingdom word from the hearts of men as soon as it is received becuase Satan knows that if the kingdom word is received and well planted in a human heart, he and his demons must leave that heart, never to return. One of his subtle tactics to keep people from seeing the power of the kingdom word in action is to mimic and simulate a miraculous healing by ordering his disease causing demons (viruses) to leave a human heart for a season. After that heart has experienced being cleansed of demons for that season, the demon will return and bring 7 more with him. This often occurs in many so-called healing crusades of Benny Hinn and others when the distorted Evangelical gospel is preached instead of the true gospel of the kingdom. However, if, through the preaching of the Evangelical gospel, a person truly allows Jesus to reign in his heart, then that constitutes the implantation of God' s kingdom in that person' s heart because Jesus is the king of God' s kingdom and where the king is, there also is the kingdom. You can read all about this in Luke chapter 11 where Jesus speaks about Satan' s kingdom being divided against itself. And becuase of this it will fall and be brougt to desolation. Did you know there is no peace in Satan's kingdom because the demons are constanly fighting amongst themselves and getting human beings to fight amonst themselves. Whenever there is a dispute among men that leads to war on earth, you can know for sure it is the work of Satan and his influences. Most wars end when God casts out the devil and God' s kingdom peace once again is restored.
The New testament records in the book of Acts a few times when the kingdom word was preached and disputed for months and years. In Acts 19:8, we see St. Paul in the Synagogue of Ephesus speaking boldly to the Jews for the space of three months, disputing and persuding the things concerning the kingdom of God.
The last verses in the book of Acts, 28:30-31, record that when St Paul was in Rome he rented a house for two years and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no man forbidding him. In Acts 9:15, Jesus told Ananias that Paul was a chosen vessel unto him, to bear his name before the Gentiles, and kings and the children of isreal; For I will show him how much he must suffer for my name's sake.
The suffferings of St. Paul taught him obedience and matured him spritually so he would be a trusted vessel to preach the mystery of God' s kingdom throughout the earth. St. Paul was able to grasp and comprehend the mysteries of God like no other apostle. Testifying to his spirual maturity, St. Paul wrote in 1Cor.2: 6-8, \"We speak wisdom among them that are perfect (spiritually mature); yet not he wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would NOT have crucified the Lord of glory.
2Peter 3:16 says that some of what St. Paul wrote in his epistles was hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Ever since the Bible has been printed so the masses could read it, there has been massive misunderstanding of it by unlearned and spiritually immature men. The reason I know what I know about the true meaning of scripture is because about nine years ago God began to renew my mind and mature me spiritually so I could prove his perfect will as per Romans 12:1-2.
When I say I know that God' s perfect will and plan for earth does not include any human being ever speneding eternity in Hell, I know what I am talking about. But I don't expect anyone to agree with me unless they also have experienced mind renewal and spiritual maturity as I have experieiced it. With spiritual maturity people view what is written in the Bible from God' s perspective and are able to see where it has been mistranslated and misinterpreted by unlearned and unspiritual men. From God' s perspective the very idea of unlearned and unspiritual men canonizing scriptures to be the authentic inspiried and infallible version of scripture is laughable. He that sits in the heavens laughs at what unlearned men have done to and with his written word. But even so, He forgives them because of their ignorance just as he forgives all mankind. And he will still ultimately save them and teach them all his truth, but each in their own pre-ordained time.
The bottom line is all things work together for good for those who love God and even for those who may not love God at present. In Matthew 5:45, Jesus says, God causes the blessings of the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends his rain on the just and the unjust. God is good and his mercy is everlasting and his truth endures for all generations. Amen.

David,
I live in Boynton and attend Believer's Victory Church which is located at the east end of 10th Ave. and Lakeside. Sorry, but there is no more need to explain anything else to me on your doctrine. I am not changing from what I believe and what has been taught for centuries, and now a new revelation has come out which supposedly disproves all of that??? Have it your way, as I see that is what you plan to do.

Tom,
Since you live so near to me, I would love to meet you. I promise I will say nothing more about what God has revealed to me as I know you cannot receive it at this time. But I think you are going to be suprised when Kenneth Copeland announces having received this same revelation. A few year' s back, when I was writing my first book, I saw Copeland and his guests on his Believer' s Victory program talking about God' s kingdom. I was very surprised and amazed.
I think I know some people from the church you attend. I think Troy Daily used to be the assistant pastor there. I have attended Troy' s church in his home a few times a few years ago. Troy is now part of an international kingdom ministry.
It fascinates me how the kingdom word at first divides people and breaks fellowship among Evangelical Christians. My own sister has effectively shunned me because of the kingdom revelation I have received. When I attended the first ever Kingdom Economic Summit in Austin ,Texas last year, where my sister lives, she left town to avoid seeing me.
But such things do not discourage me because almost every day I see more and more people becoming aware of God restoring his kingdom on earth. I am encouraged that the pastor of Palm Beach Gardens Christ Fellowship, where I sometimes attend, has recetly, a few months ago, preached four sermons about God' s kingdom over a period of a month. When I congratulated him after his first kingdom message, he said, God' s kingdom is what Jesus' s ministry is all about. But he still has a ways to go to be able to teach the application of God' s kingdom into people' s lives.
I believe the Evangelical Church is dying worldwide for lack of vision and knowledge of God' s kingdom and having followed erroneous doctrine for so long. But the Evangelical Church will be revitalized when God reveals his kingdom word to all Evangelicals. I know the kingdom message will reconcile all religions and all people unto God and into each other.
So, at least please call me so we can chat and possibly arrange to meet.
Sincerely, in Christ,
David Thompson

There is no doubt that Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom. He modeled prayer by teaching his disciples to pray that the Kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven. The victory of the Church in time and space is assured. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Jesus will sit at the right hand of the Father until all His enemies are made a footstool. Jesus will return for a bride without spot or wrinkle. And of the increase of His government there shall be no end.
God is moving His Church to realize that they are salt and light for the world. The church is the preservative and life giver (ie manifesting Jesus' life to the world).
Please do not confuse the Gospel of the Kingdom with the universalism (ultimate reconciliation) that is being promoted here by David Thompson and Carlton Pearson These are two very different topics.
Michael B. at 12:26pm EDT - May 4, 2009
Dear Michael B.
The Lord rebuke the devil in you! The devil in you has deceived you and is trying to deceive others into believing the lie that there is a distinction between the gospel of the kingdom and ultimate reconciliation when prophecy indicates they are one and the same. Daniel 9:24 speaks of seventy weeks determined upon the people and the Holy City (Jerusalem) to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The bringing in of everlasting righteousness is of course the restoration of God' s kingdom on earth. As this occurs, the transgression (of Adam and Eve) will be finished, sinning will be ending and the iniquity of the devil will all be reconciled. This is all happening now throughout the earth.
It is recorded in Acts 3:19 that when St. Peter preached the gospel of the kingdom he said. \"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Romans 9:28 says, \"For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make on earth. The times of refreshing, the times of restitution of all things and cutting God' s work short in righteousness all all analogous to the gospel of God restoring his kingdom on earth.
When John the Baptist came preaching, \"Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand\", the people asked him what he meant by the words, \"Repent. for the kingdom of God is at hand.\" John responded with an illustration, \"He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none and he that has meat, let him do the same.
John was telling them to share what they have because this is one of the main principles of God' s kingdom. The early Christians practiced this kingdom principle of sharing to the extreme. They held all things in common and no man considered anything their own. And because of this it was written that they enjoyed the favor of all men. Then came the Publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
And John said unto them, \"Exact no more than that which is appointed unto you.
John was telling them to be honest because honesty is another principle of God' s kingdom. And the soldiers likewise DEMANDED of him, saying, and what shall we do? And he said unto them, \"Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. John was telling them to not extort money from those whom they were hired to protect. Righteous protection of its citizens is a funtion of God' s righteous kingdom goverment in all God ordained governments that are a terror to the evil works of Satan. (Romans 13-1-3). When he said, Do not accuse any falsely, he was telling them to Judge righteous judgment for this is the way of God' s kingdom on earth.
This ties in with everyting that is taught in scripture about the coming of God' s kingdom to earth. When St. Paul writes that the unrighteous and flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God, he is referring to the selfish seed of Satan that inhabits all mankind and causes them to be selfish to some degree. This selfish seed of Satan was implanted into Eve in the Garden of Eden when she was deceived by the satanic serpent to eat from the forbidden tree of good and evil. Hindu holy men know about this. You can read about it on the Internet in a treatise written by R. Tagore entitled, \"The Problem of Self\". Jesus said we must deny this selfish self. But the selfish self cannot deny itself beause its nature is to be selfish. Only the God seed, Christ, the inward man, in every man can deny the Satanic selfish seed in mankind. St. Paul says his inward man delights in the law of God but he sees another law working in his members which he calls the law of sin (Romans 7:22-23). The law of sin is Satan' s law of selfishness. Jesus came to destroy this law of selfishness and he has almost completed his work and cut it short in righteousness.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED. God' s salvation is is synonomous with the restoration of God' s kingdom on earth. When God renews all men' s minds they will then understand that the gospel of the kingdom is God' s universal plan to save the earth and all creatures in it. Amen
