Going to War for Peace

People generally don't like problems or storms in their life. They want everything to go smoothly, but it rarely does; finding someone who is able to bring peace to their storm is of great value and those peacemakers who solve client storms, will be thought to be the offspring of God (Mat 5:9). It is important to bring peace to your prospects and customers, but as the saying goes, "You can't export what you don't have." Peace begets peace just like agitation begets agitation. You must determine to find the place of peace before you engage the client. And for that, you will have to go to war. Not against flesh and blood, but against all those spiritual forces which try to keep you out of peace. Why do they fight you so? Because the best decisions are made from a position of inner peace and the worst are often made during a lack of peace. The Bible teaches in Proverbs 3:17 that all the paths of wisdom are peace. If you want the wisdom of God, it will be found on the path of peace. How often we get off the path of peace. And don't our children or spouses or coworkers or even clients know it? Find the path of peace and you will have wisdom enough for all your clients, friends and family too. Jesus said, "In your patience, possess your souls". So how do you find the path of peace? You must choose it with perseverance and determination. You know what peace is; Fight to obtain that. The writer of Hebrews said, "Labor to enter the rest." It's the hardest work you will ever do and perhaps the most rewarding; for in that place, you will find everything else you need for life and business.

Thankyou for this word. Wisdom is much sought after. Yes, inner peace is the avenue to find it. He is our peace. Blessings

Hi Michael, Yes, peace is a foundational key to divine intervention and manifestation in all our affairs. For the kingdom of God, (His governing, benevolent influence) is righteousness, peace and joy! To maintain inner peace empowers one to establish the presence of peace wherever they happen to be, when that is achieved. the kingdom has liberty to reveal itself! Shalom, Mitch

Intriguing title for a very important concept. Warring for peace--it's a struggle we face every day--especially in today's climate of fear and despair.

I find myself off the \"path of peace\" and in the \"climate of fear\" when I deviate one iota from HIS presence. This \"praying without ceasing\" is becoming very real to me. But, alas, it is not a \"bad thing\" when one is moved into HIS presence time after time! AMEN? Blessings to you Michael Pink. Kara

Michael - Greetings! I truly agree with this article. I find that the greatest place of \"non-peace\" is often not in the present but in the \"mental movies\" I play in my head all the time. Matthew 6:24 tells us \"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.\" but yet I play \"what if\" in my mind all the time. What if I don't get that contract, what if he/she doesn't take the sales job, what if, what if, what if. Since we know that Jesus IS Truth - and the \"mental movies\" are not - they are of my imagination - I leave Jesus' side when I am \"there.\" No wonder I am filled with fear and doubt. We know that where Jesus is not - well... we know who is... So be encouraged by the power of the Holy Spirit in the present. He promises never to leave us or forsake us - He doesn't promise to be a star in our \"mental movies\". So let's not go there. Blessings and Peace to all who love God. M

Well Michael you read my mail again! This past week has been horrendously unpeaceful in my place of work/ministry due to the work of a man who has brought in a divisive spirit. I had a chance to listen to Hal Lindsey before I left work today, who was saying that in the last days seductive spirits will be unleashed on the earth who will seduce people - he said these spirits come to work on people's pride and avarice so they will be seduced away from true commitment to Jesus, and in doing so will make things hard for the work of the kingdom. I felt that was a word for my workplace. I have been asking for a strategy to deal with this situation, and I believe you have a word in season for me today. Blessings in abundance to all the at-peace warriors out there!
