Michael, Thanks for the confirming word. I heard this just last night; Many will say all will be fine in 2009. But what will really be as you will see, things will be in the red causing much dread. The LORD is teaching HIS people the following; Php 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. The western church does not know or understand how to do this, in most cases. I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying. Several years ago I began teaching on the four winds of God. We have not yet grasped the meaning of this. In May of 2008 the Lord spoke to me and said we were entering a season of Nebuchadnezzer. (Dan 4:31-37). This verse in Acts 27:14 lines up with Daniel 4:31-37). What is so good is that the process to looking like \"the perfection of zion\" is not an easy one...yet we will be okay when we come through. Thank you for giving a clearer picture. I tire of the prophetic words that tell of of the wondrous things we will receive without the proper instruction of knowing the road one must take to get there.

There is great hope for believers in the chronology of the events in these passeges. A ship full of Roman soldiers are taking a disciple of the Lord to prison. In their efforts to go their own way and ignore the danger signs they are suddenly in the midst of a great storm (sounds familiar). Strange that even with the warnings to stay in the harbor, they decide to leave a place called \"Fair Haven\". Also notice that when the storm comes, in an effort to save their own lives, they throw non-essentials off the ship, but at least they still have a ship! (Sounds like what a lot of people are doing with their businesses and at home these days). Then, they reach a land of \"kind people\" in Malta who help them by building a fire for them to warm themselves by. Only once they are ALL safe on land is the ship destroyed and they are left with the only thing that the Lord gave them, their lives! This leaves the survivors dependent on the kind people of Malta. Also, while they are there, Paul has a chance to minister to the sick and win souls for the Kingdom. Finally, they are provided with another ship and allowed to continue on their way. As with anything else in life, the chioces are ours to make but the consequences belong to God. Ultimately the Lord is our provider and the lifter of our heads. This is a time designed by God. Nothing has ever happened that didn't cross His desk first. The Lord is in control of all things that happen. It is a wonderful time for the men and women of God to prepare for the Romans who are coming to us looking for refuge. They will come to us after they have cast off all the things on their \"ship\" that are unneccessary. Out of their control, the wind will blow them to the land of milk and honey (Malta), (the Word of God). We the believers, need to be there, ready, standing at the shore, with a kind reception, a light of fire (warmth, hope, life), and the provison of the Lord. By doing so we can make an impact for the Kingdom and glorify the Lord by showing the world the true way to live life and live it more abundantly. Proverds 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart: do not depend on your own understading. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.

Thank you, Michael, for sharing your word from the Lord. I receive it, in faith, and have printed it up to keep in my Bible, just as I did the word for 2008 \"through the gate\". I will continue to pray over it, not just for myself and my family, but also for our nation.

Last week a brother called me, whom I had not heard much from in many years. He said, \"George, all the stuff you told me about that would happen in now happening.\" I'm often blown away by the fact that the Lord does nothing in secret...that is without first disclosing it to his servants the prophets. god has been shaking everything that can be shaken for some time but now it is becoming so intense. I pray that God's people will listen. This is not about withholding judgment on the household of faith so we can go on with our lives of ease and \"blessings\". It is indeed the refiners fire. It's purpose is to fshake everything so taht EVERYTHING not built upon the rock will fall down. That which remains will be that which he himself has authored in our li8ves. Some will find the destruction to be TOTAL...revealing that there is no ture boundation beneath their wood hay and stubble building. What is to be revealed in the natural in 2009 and beyond is designed by God to get us into a position of absolute submission to Him, of absolute trust IN HIM not in anyuthing in the natural realm. It will be hard but it will be blessed>

Terrific word, Michael, I have learned 'euroclydon' in a different sense. And I love reading the responses to you. I always can count on learning something new from you and not only in a 'new work' sense. You have a wonderful gift of Bibical exposition. During this time of year I try to have people do a three word summary of what the just ending year has been like for them. This year I am asking folks to sum up 2008 in one word as to what the Lord has been teaching them. Just as it is takes longer to write something cogent in a short format as opposed to a long-winded explanation, it's a good excercise before the Lord (and others) to try to give a one-word summary of a certain period or trial. Also ask others who know you well what one word they would use to sum up your year (or life for that matter). Thanks again, Bother. We are so blessed in your writing. Indeed, God's \"presence\" will increase in 2009... has been increasing exponentially for those willing to embrace the \"new\" and \"change\" actually fostered by God. But, what does it mean to accept \"new\"? Our God is an INFINITE being. And, WE have been designed to be just like Him, with His \"ability\" (grace). But, will our preexistant established dogma allow us to be \"infinite\" and accurately let in the \"new\"? Is it a matter of God manifesting out of some ACTION on His part, OR might it be because WE allow a refinement of our sense of personal responsibility (Sonship vs. sheepdom), learning that it's OUR speaking out as His voice in the earth now, participating in the prophetic character \"finish\" work Jesus declared... opening up our earthly atmosphere for Him to \"show up\", \"in agreement\"? Subtle, but profound... the Quantum perspective has provided us an oportunity for real understanding concerning \"change\" and \"new\" being spoken so universally in the Body of Christ today. The challenge is in the \"renewing of [our] minds\" to actually allow something \"new\" in that doesn't get \"translated\" through the existing \"filter\" of our established \"boundaried\" dogma. To accept that, we just may have to admit that we have had things translated, and been taught \"inaccurately\", from INSIDE our organizational limited scope... which is automatically unsettling to most. This is squarely due to the built in biases of traditions and traditional beliefs that resist change. Would it be accurate to draw the comparison between the OLD and NEW Covenant activity levels and participation as \"God stepping in\" vs. \"God IN US\"? No person between the \"fall\" and the \"Redemption\" (restoration) was born again. It required God's direct action in their circumstance. Every born again person (New Covenant) is a restored \"Adam\" having one foot in Heaven and one in the earth, as God designed Adam to BE and function. I submit to you, THAT is what Jesus ultimately sacrificed himself to BEcome, finally successfully live out and release to us to also participate in. Sheep do not accurately represent that intent nor design. Jesus was a \"Son\", not a sheep. We are exactly like Him. Therefore the \"sheep\" syndrome is a \"religious\" construct with subtle but profound implications. Sheep WAIT for the \"shepherd\" to move, to DO something. Sons act AS their Father, CO-CREATING and speaking the way He did and does. We speak of \"proactivity\" in Business, but what of the life of a SON? Adam was commissioned to BE the voice of his Father in the earth (\"kabash\" = subdue). It is apparent that the Father intended Man, in BEing \"in the image of God\", with ALL of the capabilities built into him that are in the Father, to cocreate with Him in the earth by doing the \"FINISH\" work. When a house nears completion we do the \"finish\" work. Jesus said, \"It is FINISHED!\" Sons do \"finish\" work. Jesus said WE would do even greater things than Him... so why not \"finish\" work? The POINT: In NEW Covenant time, it's not up to the Father to DO in the earth what needs to be done, now. He DID that - \"ALL that pertains to life and godliness\" - at the cross and resurrection... hence, \"before the foundations of the earth\". Jesus \"finished\" the right and accurate and successfull initiation of \"kabashing\" that Adam was to have done but failed. In so doing, He opened it back up to us as well. THAT is the \"Gospel\". It's now our time to DECLARE the Word (written and revealed), pressing into our relationship with the Mentor (Holy Spirit - the ONE who is PRESENT in the earth today to guide and train us as Sons), and hear the Father's voice, then SPEAK it into the earth, thus becoming the same \"bridge\" that Jesus became for the substance of Heaven to pass into the earth. If WE don't take our rightful positions, in first BEING, then DOING, it won't get done. The \"Words\" the Holy Spirit is speaking in our \"ears\" are not about what the Father will now DO (act upon), but rather, for US to declare out into the earth \"IN AGREEMENT WITH HIM\", thus ushering in His presence. \"Throw up a highway for Him to travel on.\" Our activity, in agreement with the TRUTH, is what makes His way in now. That's HIS design and intent. Subtle, but frofound. \"Identity begets functionality. Functionality begets productivity.\" Selah.

This is an excellent word, Michael, and I was encouraged by it. Thank you!! I went through a 'wine press' over the holidays and last night it got worse but I survived which there were times that I didn't think I would as the emotional pain was so excruciating. Today is a new day, sunny out, and I am praising the Lord for His goodness and mercy to me. Sandy

Michael, Good word! The Babylonian system the Body has looked to and relied on is being shaken to it's core to reveal it's flimsy, carnal foundations, although a difficult thing, it will prove to be a good thing in the days ahead. Wealth transfer that we've heard about, prayed about, sowed toward, and believed for comes mightily upon the heels of this \"shaking\" that the kingdoms of men are now experiencing. Our heart, our believing apparatus, has followed our treasure, which treasure universally throughout His Body has been laid up in the wrong places. As our hearts, collectively throughout His own, transfer out of the failed system that has been exposed, then so to the vast treasures of the fullness of our inheritance in Christ shall be transferred as well into our lives to establish and reveal His superior kingdom! I love this writing. The Saints are called to be that juice and it is a hard call one of great porportion. Every day. The flesh is got to go. Yesterday in prayer I began to think about the firey furnace. I felt the Lord show me as the 3 Hebrews, because they would not bow to another god a firey trial came upon them. So as we who choose Him to serve, we as well are surrounded by a firey trial no different than Shadrik Meshak and Abendigo. Except within the fire was one more one that was not thrown into the fire but chose to come join the 3. In His choosing He brought with Him a river that makes the city of God glad. Afterwards when all were released they didnt even smell like smoke. Not a hair was shinged. This brought such a fear that a decree went out that all would worship God. This wonderful true picture in Scripture caused me to be greatful for the firey furnace that surrounds me,as it will kill my own self and set the stage for a great move of Gods Spirit upon man kind. It is not necessarily sin or wrong doing that is causing the furnace it is because we are choosing Our Father and His Son. When I read about the history of revival they were often just before, during, or right after some calamity. perhaps we will someday read, \"and America was brought low and they cried unto the Lord...and He heard their cry!\" Blessings

You have summed up simply and completely what is being voiced by some in the Body of Christ that are hearing correctly what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church.
