Michael, Your commentary reminded me of a very special poem I published in Metamorphosis: A Life Journey (1996) Have you ever sent a wail out to the Lord? Such a loud cry that you could hear the sound waves Echo throughout the universe. God heard your wail and sent his angels to reply. They came to lift your burden. Angels came cause you were hurting. Michael, Your commentary is analogous to the effect sin has on us. We seem to enjoy it (the waves washing over us) while the riptide keeps pulling us further and further away from shore (Jesus).
