Blood Letting on Wall Street

Michael is so right, these times are tough! However, God is God and he is bigger than wall street, Obama, the housing market and everything else. Finding vision, and being proactive in walking out the plans that the Lord has laid for us is crucial. In his new book, Rainforest Strategy there are tremendous insights to this, if you haven't read this buy it TODAY!! it will change your world!

I guess the old hymn is still true....\"My (our) hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness....\" It sure is/was not in Wall Street, or even country. Without having a specific word from word from God, but more looking at this through the lens of what's actually going on, there's a wealth transfer occurring. Not exactly the way we might have envisioned it, for sure, but it's happening. The question I'm pondering is, where is the opportunity? I was recently let go of the company I worked for, where I was financing manufacturing equipment. I am currently working for myself, sourcing this type of business to various lending institutions. I'm also now doing commercial real estate financing as well as factoring receivables, and today will be talking to an owner of a company I formerly worked for, about sourcing agricultural financing opportunities his way. Further, I'm looking at doing insurance premium financing for commercial companies. My point in writing this (and I'd welcome any feedback or ideas) is not to market myself, but to mention that I'm looking to widen the scope of what I do beyond the narrow focus that I'd been previously involved in. Also, in terms of the world system, there's probably not a worse time to go into business for yourself, especially one connected to the financial sector. The good news is that God's kingdom is not of this world! First and foremost, as a Christian, I believe I'm selling myself, in terms of having integrity and doing what's best for the person/company I'm dealing with. You missed the most important part of this whole process! GOD will provide for his people! We are living in the end times, as the New World Order emerges as an accepted part of life. We are seeing this clearly with all the countries Central Banks working together to rebuild liquidity. We will soon see a central monetary unit. In Europe it is the Euro. There is talk of the same type of money in this hemisphere. It will end when JESUS comes back for his people. I am ready are you? BLESSINGS! P.S. I don't think your book will solve the problems we are facing! Only GOD can do that!

Hi Arnold... Actually I didn't miss the most important part about God providing for His people. What I do believe however is that Christians today tend to look for the miracle deliverance or miracle provision and overlook the fundamentals of a good work ethic etc. God promises to bless the work of our hands not the imaginations of our heart. (I am not presuming to correct you here, just making a point) He also promises to teach us His ways and when our ways please God, even our enemies will be at peace with us (Prov 16:7). While I would never suggest that my book will solve all the problems we are facing, it will in fact help many, many people get through them because the content is a study of the ways of God as they pertain to our business and professional lives. I have read your comments for years now - they are always an inspiration to me. I have a copy of \"Selling among Wolves without Joining the Pack\" that I have read several times - loved it! I have been the benefactor of God's provision in some amazing ways - not unlike the situations you described in your book. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ that there are followers like you that took the time to write such as book. Hi Mark; Thanks for your kind words and for your questions. Your first question was about preparation... My feeling is to have emergency food supplies stocked up in case we find ourselves in a lock down situation due to unrest, bio warfare, etc. RADM W.C. Vanderwagen, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Office of the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services last Tuesday declared, \"Therefore, pursuant to section 319F-3(b) of the Act, I have determined there is a credible risk that the threat of exposure of B. anthracis and the resulting disease constitutes a public health emergency.\" I don't know what he knows, but that is his assessment and he is better informed than we likely are I suspect. Have an emergency pack of basic essentials including food and water in case fleeing in a hurry is what is required. Read up on emergency preparedness and pray about what you should do. If you are called to business, you will need different skills which is why I recommend my new book Rainforest Strategy. Secondly, you asked if I believe this is the beginning of the tribulation. I believe it may well be the beginning of tribulation, but not \"THE\" tribulation which for the last hundred years has been taught as being a seven year period where the antichrist is going to show up and run the world. The seven year period is largely taken from Daniel's 70 week prophecy but I believe the 70th week, immediately followed the 69th week. Obviously this is a big topic and I am very familiar with 1260 days and 42 months, etc in the book of Revelation but my view on those is more of a historicst view.
