Mystifying

This Thursday at 1:00 pm I will be conducting a one-on-one teleseminar with Dr. Myles Munroe. We will be discussing kingdom principles for succeeding in business. I wanted to introduce you to him this week and have asked him to guest host on our blog for a few days. Watch your inbox for call in numbers and to register. Dr. Munroe was born in the Bahamas to a family of eleven children, and overcame unbelievable odds to emerge as a global leader, sharing the platform with Presidents, Prime Ministers, Monarchs, Governors, Corporate Leaders, Religious Leaders, Members of Congress, Senators, Law Enforcements Agencies, Judicial Leaders, Hollywood Stars and professional Athletes. He is respected internationally as a motivational speaker, business consultant, and a best-selling author of over 40 books. Now, here’s Dr. Munroe… Kingdom citizens are supposed to be operating on a level that blows other people’s minds. We should have access to a power that mystifies those who are not yet in the Kingdom. We are supposed to be living life at a certain level where we are tapping into resources that others cannot explain. The ecclesia is a secret group entrusted with secret information critical for the operation of the Kingdom. This group will be so powerful that even the “gates of hades will not overcome it.” Another way to translate that phrase is, “the gates of hades will not prove stronger than it.” Even hell itself will not be as strong as the ecclesia that Jesus is establishing. What is this “secret information” that Jesus gives His cabinet? He says, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (See Matthew 16:19.) He gives them—gives us—the keys of the Kingdom, not the keys to the Kingdom. As Kingdom citizens, we are already in the Kingdom; we don’t need the keys to it. What we need—and what Jesus has given us—are the keys of the Kingdom—the keys that will unlock the power of the Kingdom and make it work in our lives.

Wonderful word... i am just now finishing a book on Kingdom of God Living and would like to quote DR Munroe... More people have to see and understand God's true big picture. His Kingdom cannot be fixed into a denominational or theological box.... GREAT!

The terminology used here is pure gnosticism

Dr. Monroe's books are revolutionary to the common way of thinking. Praise God. How great that he will be doing the teleseminar on Thursday. I will be at a meeting at 1:00 but hopefully will be able to listen to the rebroadcast. Thank you for all that you are doing. Stella

Thank you Mr. Pink. I have been following Dr. Munroe for up to ten years now and read, in the last ten years, up to ten books authored by him. I admire the fact that he has an 'intelligent/intellectual' relationship with God. He has proved to us that God can be understood and can be known. Mr. Pink, I am glad to let you know that your book, Selling among Wolves, is found in bookshops in Lagos, Nigeria. Remain a faithful servant. Cheers, Opeyemi

I have seen Dr Munroe on TV, and he operates in a realm most Christians don't even know exists. It is a realm where wisdom and knowledge from God combine with earthly skills to equip us to bring His kingdom to earth. I think it's utterly tragic so few believers understand this. How can we fulfil the great commission if we don't know what God has available to us to equip and inspire us for this awesome task. That's why I want to keep getting these inspirational emails from Michael. Bless y'all!

Dewey, Having read or listened to most of Michael Pink's and Myles Munroe books, I can assure you neither of these men of God teach, act, or believe in gnosticism. Their teaching emphasizes the integration of the spiritual and the secular. The following is from one of Munroe's books: Jesus told us in Mathew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God….” Seek – to pursue, study, explore, understand, learn, and consider. Seekers must have a desire to know, and possess a passion for the object of their search. To seek means to give diligent dedication to and to preoccupy one’s self with that which one is seeking. The Kingdom must be pursued, studied, understood, and learned. Jesus tells us to make the Kingdom first. In other words, the Kingdom must be our top priority, the principal thing to place before all others as most important. We must place the highest value on the Kingdom of God, setting it above everything else and it should have no competition. It must be our highest priority. A kingdom is… The governing influence of a king over his territory, impacting it with his personal will, purpose, and intent, producing a culture, values, morals, and lifestyle that reflect the king’s desires and nature for his citizens.
