Vision Attracts Provision

January 16, 2008And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel." (Isa 45:3) Things are changing fast. Our paper dollar is sinking and gold is floating high. Real estate values turned out to not be not so real and their values are plummeting. They are predicting another 20% drop in home prices in SW Florida this year! But yet, if you have eyes to see and with a little planning, there are fortunes to be made. They are to be found hidden in the secret places. They are wrapped in darkness, even gloom. While our current economy is tanking and the personal wealth of millions is evaporating before our eyes, there are some who saw this coming and are beginning to step into the gloom, the darkness, and see what others do not. They see opportunity and are poised to take advantage of the times. You don't have to have cash to take advantage of the changing times. You must have vision however. And courage. Cash helps, but vision -- when it is clear -- attracts an abundance of cash from those who don't see as clearly as you. Get really clear on your vision. Begin to see what God sees and learn to communicate that. It will attract everything that is needed to get it done.

Thank you Michael for this positive article!
Being in Israel during the Christmas holidays and away from home, I was able to reorder my thinking and looking at my circumstances from the outside - I came back to South Africa with clear vision after the Lord spoke clearly to me about 'getting my house in order'
I have been trapped by credit card debt that started very small and insignificant... By the end of last year it was a monster that I could not get rid of..!!
This year I am getting rid of all debt - for the last time in my life - never to have any debt ever again!
I am busy paying and working everything off till the last penny - I know that the Lord is in control of my life and my finances and I want to live and move and have my being being led by Him every step of the way.
Thank you for the article - it was a confirmation that I am in the right direction...
God bless!

Thanks for this today. We grew up with the saying you must have money to make money, and it is probably true but if you don't have vision and courage you miss the bus! Times are really tough, struggling without an income and a lot of bills to pay and a life to live, it is hard to have faith and when you receive an article like this, you start working on your vision and trusting God more for guidance in the right direction.

Sorry, I have not had money to develope my business website but I have at least one page. Michael, I know you are right but a small business in these times needs to have Christ show through, as you state but my ability to pay my suppliers is becoming very slow and that does not represent my Faith and Gods power, that is what hurts the most. It is my weakness not his. Traditional money source is not available and I will not go into more debt, so I keep praying and reading for Gods direction. I love business but my back is against the wall and I am reading Ephesians untill I get it. Your team is doing a great job and my heart is warm when I see Gods people helping and loving. If I can help anybody that reads this in anyway, I would be honored for the opportunity. I don't have money but I have Love and I care a lot. Fienie, I also have vision and trust and I know God is about to bless you.

I have a question. I am not an economist but with seemingly every facet of our society and economy based on over-leveraged debt, plus our as yet overall rejection of God who alone can sustain nations and economies, I can't help but wonder if we will go into a major recession, or even Lord forbid even another great depression (God has a way of striking down our idols, and mammon seems to be one of the biggest idols in our culture).
But for those who have a heart for the Kingdom and using wealth to advance God's agenda, I was wondering if we do have a major downturn or collapse, what types of opportunities will be viable to produce Kingdom wealth in such times. I have heard there were people who made great wealth during the Great Depression. What types of businessses and what societal needs would be profitable in a major recession or depression?
Thanks, God bless,

Great Word...
Each of us has an experiences base that lets us see things from our own perspective in a way that will really be a blessing to ourselves and others. I knew a youth pastor that use to moan over the fact that he was not \"full-time\" in the ministry and had to work a secular job in construction. He also loved to skateboard. He has a personality that teens just love.
Well, a very large building came up for sale at an auction in town. It sold for .28 on the dollar of its value. It was the youth pastors dad that bought it as an investment. When the dad told the son what he had done the son jumped into the air as high as he could and said, 'dad, i've always wanted to skateboard in that building... can I have the keys?' The dad relunctly complied but felt there was a reason behind it...
The son came back and told his dad that if he would loan him $3,000 to buy materials he could turn the building into an indoor skate park and they could make some serious money! And you know what... those construction skills and the calling into ministry and the love of skateboarding all came together in that building and today it is one of the finest youth outreach centers in the state of kansas...
God can use you too!

This confirms some other messages we have been getting lately.
We need to see God's vision, and not our own.
He can do it we can't and He can help us if we go with His priorities.
Our small businesses are struggling.
My greatest desire is to pay all my taxes when due. I seem to be able to pay everything else, but I discovered every winter (when our business is slow), we go into debt to handle the loss of work. Every summer we make money but are trying to pay off winter.
That I don't see His vision, that He can accomplish what I cannot, is my own lack of faith. Why can't He help us to pay the people we owe and the taxes we need to pay?
I need His vision, and I need more faith at work.

Lynn, I take every cent that comes into my business and save it to pay my payroll and taxes, then I start paying everything else. I am sorry that I have to use my suppliers sometimes but they will carry me because I keep in close contact with them and I never tell them a check is coming without sending one. The government does not give you any space. Keep praising God everytime a check comes in and goes out.
God Bless you and your business. You will do fine. Gods waiting room is full with his children just like us but we are all still singing his praises.

Great article Sir!!
Proverbs \"Where there is no vision (prophetic utterance from God from heaven) the people perish (run wild and cast off restraint).\"
Oh how true Sir. When we are flooded with light and ask God for wisdom and insight the Bible says He will give us wisdom liberally.
I have been greatly encouraged hearing that there is so much treasure around us if we will just stay close to Our Creator He reveals these to us so that we will \"Live and not die and declare the works of the Lord\" the Lord Jesus Christ said' \"Because I live, You shall live also.\"
Be blessed And keep moving forward is my prayer for all of us who love Jesus. God is Almighty He created the trillion plus stars in the sky Seek Him He will solve all our problems as we draw close to Him

OK...... I'm thinking about this \"vision\" I have all the time, and I am taking steps of courage, for I want to be a fruit bearing tree for the Lord, but I must admit this issue of gaining wealth is still an painful enigma to me(poverty mentality must be broken, Lord, whatever it takes help/make me get over this hurdle!!!) I have to admit, I am more like the disciples to whom Jesus had to ask \"are you still so dull\" and then had to explain. Please explain this recent post, it is certainly provoking, and would you please give more into the explaination about the opportunities of the times?

I live in Tampa, and I think nearly everyday since the housing market has gown down that my husband and I say, boy, wish we had some real money put away to invest in real estate now. I would like to hear shared some creative ways to acquire real estate that does not require a lot of cash investment up front without getting into a dangerous financial situation. Love these teachings!
