We are Ambassadors of the King of Kings

January 1, 2007My dream this year is to help as many folks as possible break out of spiritual complacency, financial mediocrity and limited thinking. We must change the way we think or we will continue experiencing the same result. Self imposed limits are the biggest hindrance we have. This year, the iron bands of limitations are coming off! In fact, I can hear the Jaws of Life cutting through them even as I write you now.
As ambassadors of the King of Kings, we must no longer accept mediocrity and that includes the realm of the financial. Does your vision exceed your provision? It probably does and that’s a good thing. It means you have a vision that stretches you. But don’t accept the lack of provision. Expect and know that if God placed the vision in you, He has appropriated the provision for you. It is only accessible, however, by faith.
Why faith? Because the relationship and trust with the Father you must have to activate your faith and see the miraculous is exactly the kind of relationship and trust you will need to steward those resources and keep yourself from being snared by them. In other words, you cannot be spiritually complacent and experience the supernatural as part of your normal experience.
This year, we will form some kind of an online mastermind group where we will cultivate a culture of success grounded in spiritual Truth. If you want to break through barriers this year, and really hit some new levels in your personal, spiritual and professional growth, you will be invited to join in. Details to follow in a few weeks.

Our company provides construction and maintenance services to many large US and international manufacturers. Many services we provide are \"cost plus\" or time and material. We are trusted by these companies and need to be good stewards with their money.
We also need to address concerns with the general welfare of our employees and be good corporate citizens of our community. We do this and still maintain a good margin, manage sustainable growth, and have reduced overall debt. I think that too many businesses in the United States have ditched professional ethics for the sake of bigger margins when actually, the opposite is true. If the leadership of a business enterprize projects Christian values and \"walks the walk\", many problems that American industry fall prey to will be eliminated. Look at what happened to Enron. Lie after lie, and it doesn't take a nuclear physicist to predict where that company will ultimately find itself.
American industries, I think, will find ourselves in increasingly intrepid waters in the future. Foreign competition, new tax and environmental legislation, increasing legal liabilities, these are certain. Success is not guaranteed. However, we can guarantee that our collective vision will not fail because of lapses in ethical judgement. We can guarantee to our customer base that we will do what we say and say what we do. Because afterall, isn't business simply meeting expectations? Well, I like to think I can do a little better than that.

I have a vision. I want to illustrate books, magazines and stories. I have trained all my life for this. Yet I cannot find a job. I am on my last financial means. It is taking ALL my strength to trust that God has %u201Cappropriated provision for me%u201D. My friends are skeptical and think I%u2019m out of reality to hang on to my dream. Is my dream a %u201Cself imposed limit%u201D? I feel in my gut that I will slowly die if I do not use the talent God gave me to create but I have to live to use it.

I think that we all to often forget the responsibility we have as ambassadors to be focused on Kingdom building AND the resources available to us when we are.
When we step outside of that role we are all to often on our own. We might prosper for a season, but it is not with God's blessing.
It would be helpful for each of us to have a clearer vision of what part of Kingdom building God is calling us to individually, as well as corporately. This should help clarify our calling and how we can best use our gifts to bring us joy, fruitfulness and success.

\"Expect and know that if God placed the vision in you, He has appropriated the provision for you.\" That is really the whole thing. To trust. Thanks for that reminder. I will put it in my purse for consistent reference and faith-building when I need it most- the evidence of things not seen.
I guess another key is that it has to be a vision that God placed in you, not the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, or the pride of life that placed it in you.

I think we all have a need to break out of our spiritual lethargy, to experience what it really means to be sold out to god, 100%. I know God is waiting to do great things through every honest, contrite soul that lives only to please their creator and saviour. I don't believe that necessarly means we will become wealthy in worldy terms, but we might in fact do a lot better than our current state if God sees we wil use that blessing to be a blessing to others. I don't believe in the gospel of prosperity (financial tht is). To want a better quality of life and more material success is a sick reason to committ to being god's ambassador and I don't think it will fly with God.

We are sons and daughters of the King. I pray to live in my full realm of God's purpose in my life, not the mentality of a spiritual pauper. With God, all things are possible. We must always be sure we are in His will and not our own, or our frustration and despair will be never ending. Live fully in His purpose for you and you will experience the Supernatural and hae unlimited joy and peace.

An ambassador is a diplomatic official accredited to a foreign sovereign or government, or to an international organization, to serve as the official representative of his or her own country. In everyday usage it applies to the ranking government representative stationed in a foreign capital. The host country typically allows the ambassador control of specific territory called an embassy, whose territory, staff, and even vehicles are generally afforded diplomatic immunity in the host country.
Is it possible when He says King of Kings, that we are considered as King David was?
I find this clearly in the scriptures. Jesus is Lord and we are kings as servants to Him.
